Ok, I have never been to a con before in my life, mostly because my parents don't like any of the things I like, and I don't have like any friends that would go because they don't like homestuck either. Btw, that Meulin cosplay is so amazing, like, damn.
I live in Canada, and I want to go to the Toronto comicon, because I live really close, and my parents might actually take me because it is so close.

I've always wanted to go to a con. I've never been to one because my mom is so strict. She says going out in public cosplaying is "foolish", and that so much makeup will ruin my face. Ugh.

i went to my first con alone and on a sunday. i also had absolutely nothing for my social anxiety, so i was flipping the hell out because 'what if im not as good of a dave as i am over text/online?'
i made some aquaintences, but i really enjoyed myself more when i went to my second one, a friday and saturday, and actually had friends already with me. oh, and i was also on my antidepressants for my anxiety as well as more confident in myself due to coming to terms with my gender. needless to say, i was a totally b.a. dave
