Not really, no. Thus, it is of course unfair to the top.

I disagree, the fourth bid is worth much more. Those items are older, but not worth enough to beat the 4th bid.

Unfair to you, your dog I believe is a 08 or a 09 vr and the bat would not be lower then 2010 and the dog does not fill the gap.
