Oekaki/Java problems & solutions

I'm having the problem with java running out of memory on my mac, however, I can't seem to find the java preferences on my computer. Am I just looking in the wrong place or is it possible that I don't have that on my computer?

I recently started using my mom's old MacBook Pro laptop, and I wanted to get Oekaki to work so I can use this instead of my family's computer. I got Java, downloaded the necessary things for my Bamboo Tablet, and tried to get JTablet.
There were three options on the JTablet website: Windows, Leopard, and Snow Leopard. I got the Snow Leopard, because Leopard would go to a 404 Error page, and Windows isn't for Apple computers.
When I open an Oekaki drawing, it loads and everything fine, but then a little window pops up saying that the JTablet is an experiment, and it might crash. I push ok, then Oekaki freezes up completely.
I can clarify on anything if needed, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does it only freeze when you're using the JTablet app? Because a lot of people with newer versions of Mac are all mentioning the same thing and I think the app might be too old to be supported by the newer Mac versions. I've been looking for an alternative but so far haven't found any.

If your Oekaki freezes even when JTablet is off then it might be a Java issue and in that case, hooray! Because we can fix that.

ok so i got my okeai to work but now it keeps telling me:

ERROR: acces denied (Java.net.socketpermission'' ''75.101.141.188.80'' ''connect,resolve)
Drawing was not saved

what shall i do pleace help me i have no change of doing what it tells me to do in the start of this page

I have 10.7.5
Somebody else sent me a screenshot of what to do but I just don't have a java icon anywhere. But I have java because I can use oekaki as long as it's a small enough file.

When I go on ChibiPaint with my mac, it doesn't let me draw. What happened is the pen will just freeze before it even gets on the canvas and wont move at all. It's quite hard to explain...I was just wondering if anyone else might be experiencing the same problems? Or if anyone has solution?

I can't seem to find anyone else just having pen pressure issues. Java made me do the update yesterday, after that my pen pressure won't work now. Yes, I do have the circle clicked xP but it isn't registering; everything was fine before the update.
I use chrome and have windows 8.1 on 64-bit.

EDIT: If anyone else has this problem, just re-install the Jtablet, works fine now.
So, if Java does an update, it needs to be installed again >_>

I was browsing the adoptable Oekaki and came upon a species which looked interesting to me. I saw one individual in particular that caught my attention and went to view it. I had no problem at first. But after browsing a few others, I decided I wanted the first individual. However, when I tried to go to that page, it said: "You are not authorised to read this forum." The other individuals in this species have no problem with me viewing them! Help!
EDIT: Now the page has vanished from the species as if it never existed... Did a mod delete it?

Draca means the latest version of the Oekaki, V2. That fixes this error.
The link's on the front page - I'm unfortunately on mobile and can't retrieve it. ^^;
