I'm so sorry my friends, I've been waiting to hear from the killer on the ending narrative, but though they've read the PMs, they have yet to respond! I shall end the game as normal tomorrow if I don't hear from them by then.

After a long wait (sorry guys, we never did get that resolved. >_<), the end is finally here...

When the clock rang out as a sign of the hour, the votes had been counted, and the two others had turned on Buster. He quivered, looking around at his fellow villagers in shocked silence.
"How could you-? ...Why me!? What is your proof!?" He yelled. Frozen Paw paused, and looked at the other two with a sharp glint in her eyes.
"It's just how they've voted, Buster. Come. We shall test you."
"No! I refuse to go!"
"Do not make me drag you." Frozen Paw said sternly. She tried to reassure him with a calm voice and a soft look, but he wouldn't buy it. He panicked, and bolted away at as fast a speed as his little legs could carry him. Frozen Paw bounded after him, taking over in only a few seconds and blocking his path. "You have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide, Buster!"
"You were never supposed to find out!" He yelled. "This should not have happened, there was no REASON to suspect me!"
"Are you admitting-!?" Frozen Paw started, but she was cut off.
"I won't submit to you, witch! I'm the best killer that Smoothieville has ever seen - I've murdered six people and got away with it each time but this! I won't let this town finish me off-!" Before he could quite finish his sentence, Riley kicked the hamster so hard that he flew far over the tree line and into the distance, yelling on his way. Frozen Paw gave a startled look to Riley, who just shrugged in response.
"I hate monologues."

Over the next few days, Frozen Paw contacted all the nearby towns and villages, warning them of Buster's presence, and of his motives. Although the hamster had technically escaped justice, he had likely flown so far as to never be seen again - and indeed, none of Frozen Paw's friends had seen him.
It was after Frozen Paw had made sure they were safe that she told the two last villagers, Riley and Cuddles, that she had never killed their friends with the spell she was using to test them. After that, they began coming back - Red Queen was the first, then Cecil and Sneaky. The others, however, had chosen to move on - they had had enough with Smoothieville, and couldn't look at the faces of those they had either voted for, or been voted out by. The remaining villagers managed to put that all behind them, giving proper funeral services to their friends, who had sadly been taken from them too early. It wasn't long before Smoothieville began attracting new folk again - Frozen Paw had stepped up and organised nightly patrols, and, unsurprisingly, Riley and Cuddles were the first to volunteer for this new service. She also made an entrance policy, using the judging spell on all who wished to move in before they had settled, so as to make sure that the less-than-moral characters never got a chance to repeat what Buster had done.
Still, almost a year later, when Smoothieville was flourishing better than it had before, Buster had never been found. The fellow witches of Frozen Paw's inner circle had still not reported him seen, but Frozen Paw knew he would likely not give up easily.
She remained vigilant.

Yup! This game is a lot bigger than the previous three. We're hoping to have all 30 spaces filled by January 31st. If we have below 20 by that date, we'll wait until we have enough.
Due to the amount of time this has taken, I've lowered the minimum to 14. I apologize for the delay, and thank you to those who have waited patiently for the start of this game!

Now, with so many people, having the same thing round after round would get a little boring. That's why we're spicing it up this game!

This game, we're introducing the cop. The cop is pretty much a normal player, with one small difference. The cop is allowed to 'interrogate' a player. The cop will pm me, giving me the name of the player they'd like to interrogate, and I'll reveal if the player is innocent or the killer to the cop. The cop is not allowed to reveal themselves, nor are they allowed to tell anyone who they've interrogated. The cop, like the killer, will be chosen by a random number generator. The cop and the killer will never be the same person.

Now, onto the specifics of this game.
This is a mash-up of canon video game characters- this means no OCs. I'd also like to keep it to one character per game series. The only exception I'm making here is Pokémon, but I'd like to limit the number of Pokémon characters as well.

In the case of characters without a name or canon backstory, just making things up is fine- just don't have it be ridiculous or completely out there.

Character: Dante
Game of origin: Devil May Cry
Basic Backstory: Dante is one of the twin sons of Sparda, the demon knight who sided with humanity and drove back an invasion of the human world by demons 2,000 years ago. After Sparda's death, Dante and his identical twin brother Vergil were raised by their human mother, Eva. When Dante and Vergil were children, the family was attacked by demons, resulting in Eva's death. This event led to Dante's commitment to hunting demons in pursuit of those that killed his mother.
Personality: Confident, cocky, frequently taunts his enemies, proud of his human nature(which leads to him saying the phrase "Devils never cry" in every single game)
Special Abilities (if any) : He possesses superhuman strength and agility, as a result of his half-demon heritage. This gives him the ability to enter a heightened state called "Devil Trigger". In this state, Dante possesses greater strength and speed, his health regenerates at a steady pace, and further abilities with his equipped melee weapon, including flight.

Character: Meta Knight.
Game of origin: The Kirby game series.
Basic Backstory: It's not known where he originally came from or what species he is, although it is widely believed he is the same species as Kirby due to striking resemblance when his mask falls off. Throughout the games, he is mostly seen working for the better good, or training or helping Kirby, although in ways that sometimes resemble villainy. He is something of a rival to Kirby at times. Only in rare instances are his motives not clearly good, adding to his mystery.
Personality: Meta Knight is a mysterious figure, and not much is known about him. Because he is a knight, he follows a code of chivalry. He prides himself in his strength and skill, and always wishes to grow stronger. He greatly dislikes laziness and never wants his face revealed, often escaping if his mask breaks or falls off. He is quite vigilant and often is seen in high places. He seems to want Dreamland to be safe, most of the time (the only exception being the sub-game Revenge of Meta Knight).
Special Abilities (if any): His Dimensional Cape allows Meta Knight to manipulate space through short-distance teleportation and to fly when it transforms to bat wings. It also can be summoned back if thrown off. His sword Galaxia absorbs the energy of his fallen foes, using this energy for perfoming special sword strikes (like Mach Tornado, Heal, and Meta Quick). It also can of course be used as a normal sword and to shoot energy beams. Meta Knight on his own is a fast and agile swordsman of great reputation. He leads the Meta-Knights and owns a large airship named the Halberd.

Well, Hydreigon made it to the end in the first game, so that's not necessarily true. Murkrow made it to the end as well, and he was arguably just as dark of a character.
