Chandra sighed. Now she had to go through her whole speech again, and this guy would probably call her crazy too. "Have you ever looked up at the stars, and wondered if there was someone out there on the other side, looking back at you?"

Tale looked at her and thought a moment, he'd always thought of that, almost every night. he nodded "y-yea actually... I have"

Chandra smiled. Maybe this one was a bit more open minded. "What if I told you there was? that there were millions and millions of other worlds out there, that they had people just like you? And what if I told you I could travel to them?"

Tale now ooked at her like she was crazy... "what are you talking about?" he asked "how do you know this?"

"Like I said," Chandra said, "I've been there. That's what a planeswalker is. Someone with the ability to step over the barriers between worlds, to explore new worlds, to discover new life and new civilizations. We work together to stop the good people of the planes from being destroyed by the forces of evil. That's why I came here, but for some reason, this plane shut down my spark. I can't use my magic, and I can't get out of here."

Tale thought a moment "what makes you think I'm a Planeswalker? he asked and looked at her "I didn't even know what was util a few moments ago"

"I don't think you're a planeswalker," Chandra said. "I'm not sure this plane even has one. Maybe it wasn't ever meant to have one. I'm hoping that once we get out of here, my spark will come back and I can show you."

Tale watched her carefully, he didn't believe most of what she was saying but... "follow me" he said and grabbed his bag. "we've wasted a lot of time and we need to get back to the Glade before night falls"

"You didn't answer my question," Chandra said, heading back the way they'd come. "Is there some kind of cliff or canyon in the maze that you can't get across?"

Tale nodded "only one, but we can't go this time. It's only in section 5, which opens up in... two, maybe three days"
