And the Erins wanted Tigerstar to be Hammerclaw at first. How does that even make sense? Isn't a hammer a twoleg tool? And I hope I'm not the only one who can definitely see that the Erins didn't put their heart and soul in Warriors.

i always loved bluestar as a character actually, i feel like her dynamic could have been ssooo much more interesting if they'd gone through similarly to how you said in your thoughts... i feel like she was good for the introduction to having a clan leader, she fit the role neatly and i thought she was interesting but ohhhh my god, they made her character into SUUUCHh a mess for the need of having a Hideously Obvious Villain For Some Reason and her weird breakdown arc was a HORRIFYING DISASTER

Maybe this was their way of trying to keep the books relevant? ... No, that would be stupid, but I can dream there's some sort of rhyme or reason behind SkyClan's naming system.
