Birkir flew through the sky on Stryder dogging clouds and sometimes flying through them. Soon he noticed Runa and Myra near the edge of a cliff him being curious he went to go see if everything was okay. As Stryder descended and landed on top of the cliff Birkir hopped off of Stryder and walked over towards the two "Are you okay Myra? And who is this?"He asked curiously. Though it wasn't any of his business.

((In am typing my post right now, but just saying to you Madness., it has been 5 years since anyone has seen Runa, she is Myra's twin, but as far as anyone had known, Runa had died when she had fallen off the cliff they stood on right now.))

It was hard to pull the dragon and rider up the cliff, even tho the rider was still helping. As I pulled the rope I mumbled under my breathe how I wished Zabaki was here. He would have made this entire thing so much easier, but no the male Skrill dragon was off asleep back at the camp we were staying at the for the moment. After a minute or two of this the dragon and girl finally made it to the top and after a few more pulls they made came fully onto the cliff and was now safe. I was huffing now as I took in a deep breath and calmed my breathing. Once I was breathing normally and easily I moved over to the two to untie the rope, but at that moment the girl spoke up. Her words stopped me dead in my tracks.

"What did you say?" I said to her as I stood there, shifting my body weight, getting ready to defend myself. After all the stuff that had happen in the past 5 years, I learned one thing, it was never good if some unknown person knew your name. It was at that moment also when there appeared another dragon. I watched as it passed us but then returned and landed not far from were we stood. From the back of the Hobblegrunt climbed off a male rider. I watched him as he came over to us calling out if we were or and what happened. I stepped back a little from them, just to be cautious. "Your friend here was being stupid. Her dragon ended up slamming into the cliff and going unconscious. Then she decided to try and climb up. I helped her with my rope there." I said to him pointing at the rope still tied around the Stormcutter dragon.

Myra shook her head and collapsed onto her knees next to Berwald who was beginning to wake up. His eyes opened slightly and he stared up at Runa. Attempting to lift his head he moved his under wings to suport himself. Sensing Myra was in distress he crawled to her and layed his head into her lap. Hugging him tightly she wiped her ace off and composed herself. "I was free falling and Berwald looked down at me at a bad time." She said getting a sinking feeling when Runa obviously didn't recognize her.

Birkir nodded "Oh so that's what happened." After listening to what the girl had to say he then jumped back in alarm "Wait! Who are you! I've never seen you around the Island before"He said as he was ready if she tried anything tricky. Birkir whistled and Stryder flew over next to him Stryder was also ready in case if she tried anything.

Why did I have to walk off away from Zabaki. I knew there was a village near by, I had no idea if they were hostile or not, so why did I leave him. I was silently cursing myself for leaving the Lightning dragon behind as I stood there watching them. Slowly I was backing up heading for the forest, I knew I could loose them in there, I had done it before on different Islands. I watched as the Stormcutter dragon woke and moved over to his rider, placing his head upon her lap. She then spoke about to the male rider about what had happen. I listen to her words not really caring much, but the world Berwald stood out among them. I had heard that name from before, but ware?

My mind had been focused on trying to remember were I had heard that name from when I notice movement out of the corner of my eyes. The male rider had realized that he did not know me and placed his guard up, calling his dragon over to him. Unconsciously my hand moved to my lower back as my fingers curled around the hilt of a blade. This after all was instinct, you would understand after all the things I have seen. I listen to his words, as I stood up straighter. "Your not that of a sharp one are you." I said to him with a small grin. "Does it matter who I am, I just saved your girlfriends life." The words came out a little harsher then they probably should. But I was never a nice girl to begin with. Well at least that was who I was now.

Birkir's face went bright red when Runa said that Myra was his Girlfriend. He then shook his head and he was no longer blushing "I'm grateful and all but I can't just let some stranger roam the island as they please."He then got a bit more nervous as she drew her blade. As Stryder seen the blade his color turned from a Purple to a Red. He wasn't to much of fan of blades.

[Hush]

Myra took in a shaky breath and got to her feet. Walking over to Birkir she put a hand onto his shoulder. "Birkir stand down, this is Runa my sister but she seems to not recognize me." She whispered into his ear. Amnesia was something she had heard of before from her grandmother who watched the three chieftains children when they were young. There was a tale she used to tell of a dragon who had gotten hurt on the head and forgot it's rider. It flew away but returned after seeing something that triggered it's memories. Gran warned them of if something like that ever happened to them to never just tell them everything because it could cause them pain. Myra never thought she'd have to use that kind of information. But here she was standing in front of her twin. She gave Runa a friendly smile "Well thank you for helping me out there. I'm Myra leader of the riders and soon to be leader of the Viking village not too far from here." She 'introduced' herself.

I looked at the boy, the blade now fully in my hand. I twirled it around some, since it had a ring on the end. The other one was still upon my back tho. I had two of them. "Yet I have been wondering around here, rather freely for quite some time now." I said to him with that grin still plastered over my face. I watched the dragon behind him as it turned from a purple to a red color. I always had found it interesting on how Hobblegrunt dragons could do that. It was at that moment that the other girl had stood and walked over to the boy. She placed her hand on his shoulder before she leaned in some. It appeared as if she whispered something to him and I frowned a little. I hated when people did that. The girl then turned and looked right at me. Her words washed over me as I stood there. Well now that is a surprise, to be standing before the soon to be leader of a viking village. "My names is Runa Vulom, I am just a simple wanderer." I said to her.

It was at that moment that I heard a small crackle above us, before a bolt of blue lightning hit the ground in the space between us. I was after all a good couple feet from them. It had been nothing more than a warning shot as the black Skrill landed beside me, his tail curling around me. He had no idea what was going on, all he saw was an upset looking Hobblegrunt, a blade in my hand and some unknown humans and dragons. AS you figured by now, we never really had good experience with unknown beings. Lightning crackled over his body until I placed my hand upon him. "It's alright, they are not threatening me." I said to him. He snorted at me before looking back at them. The lightning stopped but you could tell he would rip any one away who dare approach us. Zabaki was very protective of me.

History: Styrk was born to a family on an island a bit of a distance from Kewani. While dragons were a bit of a nuisance, their village did not openly kill them. In fact, Styrk took an early interest in the dragons, and often tried to figure them out. As he grew, he was taught basic viking skills such as weapon handling, and his family's trade, fishing. One day, they were out on the ocean, and a storm hit. The storm completely destroyed the ship and Styrk was separated from the his family and other vikings. He washed up on the shore of an unknown island after several hours of him trying to stay afloat. Using his fishing skills he was able to keep himself from starving, and he was able to build a small shelter. After several days, he heard a strange noise and found a grapple grounder who had managed to tie itself in a knot. It wouldn't let him approach at first, but after days of him giving fish to it, it let him help. The dragon stayed near him for a while after that, so he found out it was female, and named her Jastrid, which meant "beautiful goddess" because of her pretty coloration. The two grew closer and eventually Jastrid allowed him to become her rider.

History: Jastrid was born in the wild to two grapple grounder parents. She was the only egg in the clutch, but she was raised to be fast and have a great endurance. When she was a juvenile, she went off on her own to make a life for herself, but one day, she got impatient and accidentally tied herself into a knot. It wasn't long until a human named Styrk came along and after a few days of him feeding her, she allowed him to help her out of her knot. They became bonded as dragon and rider soon after.
