there is no proof of that the person saying it is only fear mongering those who live in uk it's false and a rumor the only thing i found about it that even remotely resembles a ban would be the removal of dogs in 1994 to prevent damage to wildlife in antartica other then that there is nothing to support the claim that the uk is banning huskies
http://www.antarctica.ac.uk/about_antar ... e_dogs.phpsorry triple post by accident earlier didn't intend it too happen also back to the topic at hand. which is wolves and our opinion of them.
Anyway huskies aren't as close to wolves as we think they are they are beautiful animals that being said this is wolf discussion thread we should try tokeep off the domestic dog talk a little bit and if your curious about specifics of things perhaps talk to eachother in pms.
Diariapeck wrote:Yes I agree. Wolves are beautiful creatures and are on the planet for a reason. Of they carry on killing then the bison species and lots more animals that they hunt will become overpopulated. Wolves are also good, as without them we wouldn't have dogs, especially the husky which may be banned from England soon
bisons are huge wolves primarily go after sick and the weak they mostly eat uhh elk though cause bison are hard to kill but they do prey bison calves ocassionally we need to start doing population control moving them is good option but then they over populate area which makes hunting seasons like they have for deer necessary i'm not saying we should kill all wolves no i'm saying we should have controlled hunting seasons allowing people to legally hunt grey wolves in certain areas for pelts. keep the population down to a point in which the packs aren't over hunting the elk and bison. the best thing to do is to avoid making the hunting season during the time of year when wolves are forming packs and having families of their own this way you only shoot them during the season in which they aren't making more pups. which should prevent the accident of shooting a mother wolf who may have pups. the goal would shoot males not females though, Like they do with deer they hunt bucks normally population control would work if you hunted the females but females also have possibility of having a fawn nearby which would leave the poor animal motherless so hunters avoid shooting females because of that and the lack of antlers. Females don't make good trophy deer and most hunters don't hunt purely for trophys some of them actually eat the animals they hunt and maybe taxidermy one out of all the animals they kill. Say they hunt few deer and they get this one beautiful really big buck that they think is too good to eat but also too beautiful to not keep they get that one taxidermied and then make the rest of deer into venison.
My one issues though is that if your going to display taxidermied animals don't display them in your living room put them seperate room so guests don't have to look at them if they don't want too.
