Prologue:
I heard bells. They were calming and soothing, like a sweet lullaby before bed. I wanted to stand there and just listen. I looked around me. It seemed no one else heard it. I would die is I didn't know who was doing that.
I ran home to fetch my dog. As soon as I opened the door, a furry golden hair ball hurtled into me, then it started to lick me furiously. I gasped, "Nice too see you too, Alexa." I pushed her off then asked, "Do you think you could tract the bells, girl?" She gave me a 'I've-been-doing-this-my-whole-life-and-now-you-ask' look. I just rolled my eyes and said, "Well, can you girl?" This time she barked and got right to it.
After a few minutes she ran toward the town square with me in tow. When we arrived I signaled Alexa to be quiet. There was a man, he was ringing a golden bell with a whole box full of them. He must be selling bells. "Hello, can I have a bell?" The man turned to me than gave a terrifying smile, "Why of course little girl." Why is his box full? Tons of people would love this kind of bell. He handed me a bell, I took it gladly. "Your mine now little girl" Wait... what does he- Then a flash of light blinded me and Alexa. We both crumbled to the ground as the man gave a content laugh.
