Another howl ripped through Rikki's mind and she nearly answered it with her own, but swallowed it down. She didn't want anyone to know she was a wolf, at least not just yet. That, and she definitely wasn't ready to live under an alpha again. Her grey eyes flicked around the area and she took a few steps back, deciding on going back before she messed up her plans- or got caught.

Brian and Brianna were content with their slow walk, the night seemed oddly calm and silent. But the silence quickly broke when they heard a somewhat familiar voice speak. The two quickly turned in sync, their gaze landing on Derek. Brian's face immediately turned into a slight surprised, yet concerned face. He looked at Brianna, who kept a straight casual and calm face, before whispering, "What do we do?" Brianna glanced at him, not replying, but just looking back to Derek. She hid any recognition she had for him and took in a deep breath, "I guess so, but my brother and I couldn't sleep so we decided to take a little walk. Plus the moon is lighting up the sky just right for a nice walk.." she replied, her gaze sharpening slightly, "But, why are you concerned?" She didn't know how, but Derek seemed familiar, and even had some sort of a familiar scent. Brian looked at the two of them, staying quiet but he was on alert. It was a full moon and this guy was out in the middle of it, that didn't scream weird at all.

~Derek Hale~
It was obvious based on the male's reaction that the female's story was a lie. It was remarkable thought that she was able to keep her calm composure while the male's was more guarded and surprised. Perhaps there was some truth to her words since her heart beat stayed steady as she spoke. "Why am I concerned?" He repeated raising a brow as he spoke. "Haven't you read the news articles lately or heard the tales? Supposedly a monster is lurking in these very woods hunting it's unfortunate victims under the cover of night" he replied a hint of sarcasm in his voice gesturing towards the wooded darkness. "Well that and there was the fire at the Hale house" he replied casually despite the stabbing feeling he felt inside as he spoke them. Out of habit and precaution Derek took a small whiff of the air around him to see if he recognized any of the scents. A peculiar look appeared on his face as he caught their scent...it seemed almost familiar like home in a way.

Alyx heard the howl and heard head turned towards the source. She dug her nails into her palms and fought the urge to move closer to the source. Her mind drifted to her brother, wondering how he was right now.

Stiles looked at his dad and then his dad said"is she your girlfriend. "Stiles eyes widen and then looked at Sara and then back at his dad and said"No!"

Brian and Brianna stood silent as they listened to him. "Well.. it's a little weird that you're out here.. by yourself, in the middle of the night," she said, and was about to add onto it when he mentioned the fire at the Hale house. Both their heart's went up a beat and before Brianna could say anything, Brian was speaking. "What do you know about the fire?" Brian asked quickly. Despite being from the Hale family, they didn't quite know a lot about the fire. Only a couple of things in which only one fact was important. Brianna glanced between the two and her curiosity grew slightly. What if he knew something? Not only did he seem familiar, but now he was mention the fire. She was going to take a shot in the dark and guess that he had to know something. Getting information was only one of the things they were here for, but if somebody even seemed like they knew something.. well, she'd force a answer about.

Derek ignored the first question having no intention of explaining his motives to a couple of teenagers. Derek crossed his arms and stared at the two when they asked about the fire. Their interest in the topic was unsettling to say the least. Anyone from Beacon Hills would have at least known some details about the fire. "You two really don't read much do you?" He muttered. "I know what everyone else knows. A fire started and killed most of the Hale family only a few survived. It was tragic really." Derek said leaving out most of the important details. He wasn't about to tell the truth to a couple of strangers.

Brianna frowned a little bit before quickly trying to contain her feelings. "We actually just moved here... and are trying to do some research about the fire... a couple of our friends knew some of the Hale family. So, if you have any more information, shoot away," she said, "Oh.. and who are you?" She decided if they were going to talk to this guy they might as well know his name.
Brian stayed quiet as he listened to them, his interest on this guy growing. He zoned out a bit as he tried to think of where he knew this guy from. He just seemed so familiar yet he couldn't place where he knew him from. Maybe they had just seen him around?

"Well if it's information you want then why don't you talk to the cops and firefighters on the scene. Even the official accident report they wrote up would be useful." He replied. What really happened at that day was something he wasn't proud of, everyday he blamed himself for the events that occurred. His secret was something he wasn't about to tell especially to some complete strangers. "I'm Derek and you two are?" He asked glancing between the two.
