and if a user suddenly goes inactive without saying why for that much time, will their horses be forcibly taken? i'm only asking this because chances are my activity will plummet when something pops up in real life, and i don't want my horses taken just because i can't get on.
Oh, don't worry at all, aviate ^^ That only refers to users who are active on CS but refuse to take part in RVEC after having adopted horses. I'd send a couple PMs first, and if they are ignored or the user states that they no longer wish to participate, then their horses will be offered up for readoption -- and this would be stated in the PM. If real life pops up or if you even just need a break from RVEC, that's totally fine; I just wanted to protect users who try incredible hard to get a horse and are unable to from having someone join, adopt several horses, and then leave suddenly and permanently while still being active on other parts of the site ^^ And when I say permanently, I mean for at least several months -- not just a couple of weeks c:
Real life takes priority over RVEC every time. It is, after all, only a sim c; However, horses will age as usual (because it would be difficult for me to redo all of the aging horses in my calendars), and I's recommend allowing someone to free lease the horse while restricting that horse to training only in order to allow them to keep up. If you're concerned that someone else might violate this agreement or something, I'm always willing to take care of your horses personally c:

Hey guys -- quick question! For the horse's feet, should it just go 1-10 or increase as foals are born? It'd be easier to have it be 1-10 for the sake of competition formulas, but I can also totally understand if you all would like to be continually improving your horses' hooves through breeding ^^

I think it should improve with breeding c:

herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.

Does anyone have a TB mare? I'm looking to breed one with my QH stallion Daemon in hopes of creating an Appendix Quarter Horse, which is the result of TBxQH. Lemme know if you're interested. I'm willing to pay up to 3000c at the most for a breeding fee.

I think breeding purebreds should increase stats. Especially in the areas that are the highest first (ex. Hindquarters, feet, neck, etc.) on both parents. Users could maybe have this option for breed specific barns or for users who whish to create a champion bloodline eventually.

I'm worried I might be confusing you all ^^' (And this isn't specific to you, Mrs. M, don't worry!)
The poll and the question I asked about feet are two totally separate things c: I'm using the stats for feet as a component for a couple showing formulas, and it would be infinitely easier to just do 1-10 and have that be the main bit of the formula, so it would kind of be like intelligence, willingness, and trainability in that sense, but I was wondering if it might look too odd to have a random 1-10 stat in the middle of uncapped stats, so if we did do it I'd probably rearrange the stats to have feet last, but I also wanted to get an opinion because if I did that, then it'd be a different formula for calculating the feet of offspring and it wouldn't be uncapped. So if we don't limit the feet to 1-10 (or actually 2-10, technically) then I'd probably have to redo those formulas and feet would really only affect one of them. A compromise might be to allow feet to eventually go from 2-20, but that'd have to be discussed more ^^
Purebred horses do get additional stats as a reward for their owners to place wherever they'd like c:

In regards to breed-specific bonuses; I'm all in favour for it, provided there is a more even spread of breed types to adopt. For example, we haven't had a true draught horse for public adoption since December, so it becomes a case of just looking at the stats, and if they're decent, find a style of driving that would work.
Final count: Treated: 110! Tricked: 4!
Recieved: 93 Treats! 1 Trick!
