He sighed, his fake sleeping didn't work. he rolled over and sat up "Who told you that?" he raised an eyebrow

Brent - Keith

"One of the police guys said it when they took him." Brent said quietly, scooting down into the couch as he spoke. "Juvie must be scary..." He half whispered, glancing over at his foster brother. "Have you ever been to Juvie?" He asked, then instantly regretted it. What if he made Keith mad?

[Jared.]

Keith

He bit his lip and sighed "I'm going to be real with you Brent. Chase is in some pretty serious stuff for what he did. There is a chance we could get him back in less then a year. I'm sure Cal and Sarah are doing the best they can right now" He took a moment and hesitated at the question, Keith grew quiet "No- No nothing like Juvie" he sat back taking a deep breath "Us kids cant do anything, try not to stress about it" he rubbed his eyes knowing it would be impossible for him to sleep in the house anyways.

Brent - Keith

Brent listened quietly, nodding slowly as Keith spoke. "Okay... What if he comes back and he's still mean?" He asked with a little shudder.

Keith

"He's sorry" He shrugged seeming to act like he couldn't care any less "He wants to change, i think he's willing to make some effort, thats what counts, weather or not if he attacks someone he'll have to deal with me" he sighed "Lets just not get ahead of ourselves a'right?"

Brent - Keith

He didn't bother to ask how Keith knew that Chase wanted to change, simply taking his word for it. "Ok." He went quiet again, then spoke up once more. "Keith? What's it feel like to get punched?"

[Jared.]

Keith

He looked a little concerned facing Brent "Why do you want to know?" he didn't want to say something wrong and stress out Brent.

"Oh, I don't know. I'm just curious I guess." He asked. "How much does it hurt?"

[Jared.]

Keith

"In the split moment its more the feel of shock the pain. Its the five minutes later that hits you. After five minutes its just a ringing soreness that it just overwhelmingly frustrating." He yawned and scratched his jaw line "But seriously, why do you want to know?"

Brent winced. "Ok. I guess I just want to know what to expect if I ever get punched by someone." He said innocently.
