That's the great thing about Juniors. It's not the dog that's being judged, it's the handler on their ability to show the dog. It doesn't have anything to do with the regular breed ring.

Uhhh, My dogs a English Pointer :) and erm, we're in Australia... Just saying.... lol

I suppose that's what I get for jumping to conclusions on location and mixing up photos. I was looking at the heavily ticked dog, Charlie, and thought the photo was labeled Stella.

You aren't changing their sex/gender. The correct term to use their would be castrated, neutered or altered ;)
Anyway, that was the point of asking that question. If he were altered then this entire conversation would be moot.

The reason altered dogs cannot enter is because you are removing their sex hormones. In an intact dog those hormones cause changes in their coat (f.ex. when my dog goes into heat her undercoat turns reddish, she "blows coat" and she just doesn't look as good. An altered female wouldn't have that problem and would be at an unfair advantage). Also, males that are altered at a young age (before puberty) tend to be bigger because the growth plates do not close. Coat texture can be affected as well, and typically the coat becomes softer and fluffier.

He's a very nice looking dog. What is his registered name?

Looked at his Papers. His registerd name is Von Ralton Arik I think that is how it is spelt.

I'm looking for answers to my problem actually, not results. <.<

Plus this post is dead anyways.
