I have a crush on a boy in my grade. I am pretty sure he does have one on me too. He is always hanging around me, showing off, chasing me down, it's cute and all but... how am I sure that he likes me back?!? I wanna know. My friend Tina probably likes him too, but she is in the same class as him, and she's taking all the attention. he still walks with me, and I've told my friend Shirley who's a year younger than me. I trust her, but she threatens me that she'll tell him that I like him if I don't bring her something.

But my question is, how do I get his attention and how am I sure he likes me back??

You know what your boyfriend is like better than anyone else. We don't know what he likes, wants, has, or dislikes. That's something you have to figure out on your own as a bunch of strangers aren't going to know what to buy another stranger.

I'm just wondering simple valentine stuff like do guys like heart box chocolates or should I stick to brand name candies… I've never had to buy a guy a valentine present before because our relationships always ended before V day

That teacher can be charged for rape, have you ever seen the show pretty little liars? Aria dated her teacher and it was a total pain. I know it's just a tv show but it can be the same situation. PLUS do you really think a teacher is going to say yes when you ask her out?? I mean it's possible in high school of you were a junior or senior but you gotta do the math and compare ages. Don't date someone who's the same age as your parents

Even if she were in high school it would be inappropriate. That kind of power differential is not right in a relationship, even if the younger party is 18. Obviously we know that a relationship between a 47-year-old teacher and a middle school student is not going to work out, but it's difficult to offer constructive advice to someone at an age where they are pretty much biologically wired to believe that they have everything figured out and that everyone else is just out to get them down. I honestly don't know what I can say to convince her that this is a bad idea, but I wish I knew more of the situation. It's entirely possible, although hopefully not the case, that she is actually being groomed by this woman, in which case the police would definitely need to be involved.
