How's the weather over there?

3ft of snow where I am - it's so awesome! It's too deep to sledge so at the moment I am improvising with an upturned surfboard The reason it's annoying is that because I live at the top of a hill, I cannot drive down my driveway so I have to walk 5 miles to the nearest store and 5 miles back!

Snow. But only a couple of inches, so school's open. It did open yesterday, but we couldn't get there, so I just went sledging with my brother, a couple of his friend's and my friend who I haven't seen in aaaages. We enjoyed that. <3

We've got that stage where the snow just looks messy and slushy, not like a 'winter wonderland' anymore. :c

If i did not know that the rest of the world lives in a less enjoyable, shorter winter, I would be shocked everyone here has just seen snow for the first time this year. The snow has been around for long enough now that I do not remember what life was like without it. I love Saskatchewan winters. Sure, it's cold as hell (which is technically an oxymoron, but you get it), but the snow is beautiful, and it's amazing when it's not windy (which is pretty much never). I love walking home and seeing the snow. I love snow!!

what time does snow start where you live??? I know a villlage in austria (obergurgl in tirol) and the ski season is from mid-nov to end-april, with snow machines in december if it's a bad year.

worst day of winter's history ever in canada.

Oh my gosh, we had a freaking hurricane.
Not kidding.
The school's roof got torn half off and there were trees uprooted everywhere.
The winds were at 130 at my house.
All the power was out so I haven't been on for the past two days...
The power was even out at the school, so we had the 2nd off.
Which was awesome 'cause it was my birthday.
No School!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well. It flooded last weekend. And this weekend, we have snow forecasts. I love the Appalachian mountains. :'D

It's been cloudy and that there has been quite a bit of rain in the last couple of days. There have been some sunny patches... but not many.
What a NICE start to summer
It sucks living where I am right now. Most of spring has been cold, and summer hasn't been as warm in a long time. I think summer this year (including christmas) is going to be very cruddy this year.
