Tauriel nodded, "I know we are less than welcome here...but there is more at stake than you make realize. As you may already know, the halls of Erebor are poisoned with lust for gold and dragon sickness. Creatures of the darkness grow stronger and larger in numbers the longer we wait. These very woods are rife with wickedness and disease. I know your father may think that finding and having safe refuge is the best course of action...but this darkness will consume this land until there are no refuges left to run to. We must stand and fight for what is ours...and the Snow Elves have the ability to summon animal allies, do they not? We could use that to our advantage...and...there is one more matter to discuss...but here is not the place." She would not feel comfortable talking about Kili's dream out in the open...not when there were spiders lurking about. She looked at Legolas pleadingly. "Please...would you ask your father to let us in once more?"

Dori sighed, emerging from the mountain halls to sit and think outside the gates. He was surprised to find his kin was already sitting there. He raised a brow, walking over to Ori and stooping down to pick up a fallen knitting needle. "I believe you dropped this," he said, holding out the needle with one hand for his younger brother to take. "You seem...a little anxious," he noted concernedly.

Tauriel gave Legolas a grateful expression, "Thank you." she braced herself for whatever might happen, and then followed him. Selphyn's affirmation of the animal-taming part was somewhat reassuring...having that power on their side would be useful.

Kili walked reluctantly behind Tauriel. He kept his ban on his sword as they walked. He was cautious around this elf, very cautious. He sighed and kept walking, despite the growing fear in his heart.

~Legolas Greeenleaf~

He led them into the halls of the Woodlan realm and began to lead them through the halls to his father. "I believe you remember these two." he said to Thranduil, beckoning to Kili and Tauriel, "They require your and the Snow Elves assistance." He was still mad at the king from earlier. Legolas turned to see it his friend Haldir was behind him.

history: Luna doesn't know the details but she was found and raised by a dwarf family in the blue mountains. She was often found wrestling with the dwarf boys her age. She was never one for girly activities. When she reached the age where she could be dependent she went off adventuring around the land.
Family: "I've never met my real family, and I have so many adopted dwarf family members that their is no point in naming them all off."

Haldir // Lothlorien Elf // With: Basically everyone
Haldir had followed at a respectable pace, merely bowing at the assembled party so as not to interrupt. As he watched, though, he observed. There was Tauriel, who naturally he'd met before, looking much the same as she always had, and sharing ill tidings which mirrored much of what Haldir had heard back home. There was - or at least, there had been - a bear, who, upon revealing themselves as a shapechanger, was so obviously partly elven it took him by surprise. And then the two dwarves. Haldir used the cover of Legolas and Tauriel talking to take a good look at the one that she had supposedly fallen for. Legolas was wrong; he was not particular ugly. For a dwarf that is.

"O-oh...thanks," Ori replied, taking the needle and letting both of them rest in his lap with the wool. He turned to look back out to the field, and at his brother's other concern replied, "...it's nice to have Erebor back, isn't it?" and let the unsaid 'Just a shame to lose Thorin to the gold' hang in the air.

Selphyn looked haldir but seemed to look away though she slowly made her way over to him "you are not from mirkwood I can tell that much" she said looking at him

Stepping back slightly, merely so as not to disturb the others' conversation, he shook his head slightly. Softly he replied, "No; I am of Lothlorien. Merely a visitor, like yourself," he smiled a little at her; she must be pretty observant to notice the difference between him and the others.
