Doctor noticed the fiery haired girl reach for a book that seemed fairly high up compared to her so he strolled over and grabbed the book of the shelf for her, "Here you go!" He grinned brightly

He held the book only by its front cover now, allowing the pages flip through and fall. "But this book only covers how they were formed and things; never what's in them." He didn't know that for a fact, as he had only read the chapter index. But he assumed this was solely a book of study, therefor contained no interesting tidbits of information. "Wyverns are common creatures where I'm from. Reading of their home wouldn't be too thrilling either." He scowled and released his grip on the cover, allowing it to fall to the rest of the pages. He then turned to the other girl who had since answered his question. "Haven't you been reading it? How don't you know?" He tilted his head in confusion. Now would be an excellent time for a pun, but sadly, he knew not how to make one of the situation. He would have to await an opportunity.

"Nice work!" Pearl applauded, her spear still bearing against the other. She relaxed and allowed the weapon to drop to her side. "I have no complaints to your performance. We can stop here, if you'd like. Or we could continue; whichever you feel would be best." An untrained army would never stand a chance in a war, she knew this well. If the soldier felt unprepared for upcoming battles, she would be happy to help. Anything could be improved through proper training. Attitude, skill, stamina. If Deryn felt anything could be worked upon and improved, Pearl would gladly oblige. If any soldier needed help training, really, the gem would be ecstatic to assist them.
