I hate the current camera I have, but don't have enough money to buy a better one. Lyra's face doesn't show up that great on it and the screen's broken. Not to mention the manual setting is glitchy.
I guess I'll have to make do with it for now.

Ahh, there's a gorgeous bull lurcher in our local-ish Dog's trust, we saw him when we went to have a look (before we got Lyra) two years ago, and he's still there. Being deaf and a bully breed probably doesn't help his chances much. :c

My camera literally can take a picture taken in direct sunlight with Chew standing like a statue and turn it into a dark blurry mess. (And no it's not me moving that makes it blurry or the settings that make it dark. It's the crappy camera that I've dropped too many times to have it still work good!)

I use my iPhone 6 as my only 'camera' for now. I'm hoping I can steal my stepdads nicer camera, but I think last time I tried the battery was dead.

I'm saving up for a new camera now, but it's gonna take ages with all the things I want to buy lol. (Chewie needs a collar, I want to see about getting Princess a weight pull harness and starting her in that, and the goats need things too)

My camera was basically entirely stolen from my mom and it just ended up becoming mine because I used it so often. It's pretty awful in anything less then ideal lighting conditions and can be awful about focus and/or movement.

Anyway, got to pet a cute little dog when I was coming out of the store. He was a yellow long haired smallish mutt wearing the cutest little jacket. He kept trying to climb onto my lap with his wet little paws <3

Piper is scared of being in the car. We are thinking of getting her a security blanket-shirt thing that massages her chest, it's supposed to calm her down. We would be using it when we go on a road trip down to California, since we are taking her with us.

Well, if she's really scared of the car, you should get the shirt now and start counterconditioning her to the shirt and to the car now. Won't be fair to her to wait.

Though, I have to ask, why not just board her or get someone to petsit?

Mum (and me, too) don't really "believe", for lack of better words, in boarding. Piper is a dog that likes to be around people almost 24/7, and it would probably be more stressful for her to be boarded than it would to go on the roadtrip for us.
It's also extremely difficult to find somebody willing to stay at our house and babysit all the animals when we are away. Most people don't mind stopping by and stuff, which would be fine with the cat and other animals, but with Piper.. like I said, she needs to be around people or she gets upset.

On the topic of cameras, once I started taking more pictures at horse shows my dad pretty much gave (I'm technically borrowing it) me his older Nicon D50 and he has the D7000 which is so much nicer! I love my little camera, but the only downside is that I order to get good pictures you have to have really good, natural light. I like how it's small enough that it isn't super bulky, but still takes nice pictures.

I love this dog... I got my wisdom teeth pulled this morning and she has not left my side. How did I get so lucky?
