Tauriel returned the gentle squeeze and smiled, but like Kili, the smile faded somewhat when they reached the edge of the woods. "Be careful. Stay close to me," she instructed, addressing everyone in their party. "It is easy to get lost in these woods. Do not stray from the path, and do not stray from each other." still squeezing Kili's hand, she walked forward and into the woods.

Bilbo put on an innocent expression. "Invisible?" he frowned and shook his head. "Mmm...no...sorry, I've never been invisible in my life. No one can turn invisible." he glanced from Legolas to Thranduil, feeling a sudden overpowering need to protect the ring and make sure they didn't find out about it. "Have you ever considered that perhaps I'm just really good at sneaking around? I am a burglar after all." then his eyes fell on some other Elves in the room...but they didn't seem like Mirkwood Elves at all. They seemed much different. "Um, who...who are...they?" he inquired curiously, part of him wanting to change the subject.

Kili stayed close to the She-Elf, his side occasionally touching his. It sent shivers down his spine. Kili's hair started to blow in the gentle breeze that wasn't starting to blow through the trees. He stumbled on a rock that was in the middle of the path, and it took him a few deep breaths and several swift blinks of his eyes to get his thoughts together once more. He shook his head to clear the effects of what this forest did to him. It was a dark, evil forest, full of darkness and evil and sickness. He heard a rustlin in the brambles to the right, and pulled his bow off his back. He held it and an arrow, ready to shoot if anything attacked the group. He took several deep breaths. The sickness of Mirkwood, the dark magic was starting to get to the young dwarf.

Tauriel felt Kili waver next to her, and she pressed herself a little closer to him, ever so gently. "Fear not...they are illusions of the forest..." or at least she hoped so. Sometimes it was the forest's hallucinations that made the noises...and sometimes it was the spiders. For all their sakes, Tauriel hoped it was the former. A run-in with spiders was the last thing they needed at the moment. "We'll make it to Mirkwood..." she breathed, trying to assure herself as much as Kili. "...we will speak with King Thranduil...and we shall find a way to fight the darkness..."

Short, even for a dwarf, and ginger, with a beard that's, in the words of his brothers, "getting there," Ori is a total cutie. He keeps his hair in braids, which he carefully does and undoes each day. It's rare to find him out of knitwear; he always has spare wool and knitting needles on hand, just in case. He also also has his book with him, if he can, and tries to right down everything he sees.

Ori grew up in the Blue Mountains, in Thorin's home, in a time of relative peace. He learnt to be a a scribe, having kept a diary from a young age, but never really practiced his fighting. He was only persuaded to join Thorin's quest because his brothers did, as he's deeply attached to his brothers.

He has two elder brothers, Dori and Nori, and is (in some way or other) distantly related to Thorin

Appearance:
Haldir isn't actually particularly attractive for an Elf, especially not a Silvan Elf. While he has the long blond hair, he is certainly stockier and more muscular than the elves tend to be, and is considered the least attractive of his brothers. However, in human standards he's still pretty handsome, what with the height and the hair and the cheekbones.

History:
Haldir grew up in Lothlorien, and after spending a wild youth travelling around Middle Earth and learning all sorts of wisdom, including a variety of languages. Eventually, however, he headed back to Lothlorien, and trained to be a Marchwarden, working his way up, so that now he has his own company.

Two brothers; Rumil and Orophin
Crush:
Sorta has one on Galadriel, but doesn't expect anything of it. He just admires her an awful lot, and think she's beautiful. He's loyal to her above all else.

Eleanor was brought up in the Buckland near the Brandywine river, and it's often been said that the Brandybuck boys have had a bad influence on her, as she's mischievous and flighty and can even swim, for goodness sake! However, she's know for baking excellent bread and cake, and is a hard worker as a bartender at the Bird and Baby Inn, so most are happy to forgive her less honourable traits.
Family:
Just the standard mother, father, younger brother. She's distantly related to basically every other Hobbit, like all Hobbits, but she's a slightly less distant relative of Hanna Brandybuck nee Goldworthy.

The king's eyes narrowed slightly, recognizing Bilbo almost instantly. He was still irritated by the fact that Bilbo had managed to free all the Dwarves, and would probably never admit that he was impressed by the Hobbit's previously unknown talents. "I'm sure hobbits cannot become invisible, Legolas. Perhaps you did not notice him?"

Saelweth sighed rolling her eyes at Her son who seemed to be pretty much running around the throne with at least 20 other elflings most of them had traveled with Saelweth and her people and it seemed like Helrenthrad was the unnofficial leader of the the entire group he seemed to be the one the others followed around most often and it seemed liek Faeron was having hard time keeping them all in one area and place.

Aslaf looked around he was being slightly paranoid as he followed them he pretty much was refusing to talk at this point mostly because the forest was unnerving. he blinked for moment as Selphyn grabbed onto his cap and the reins of his goat and started dragging him and following after kili and tauriel.

The elvenking paid no attention to the elflings, for he didn't have the heart to yell at them for running around his throne. They had nothing better to do anyway. He kept his focus on Legolas and the Hobbit in front of him, wondering why the Hobbit was here and not with the Dwarven company he traveled with.

Haldir // Lothlorien Elf // With: No One
Haldir waited, silently and with a great deal of patience, in one of the trees just outside Thranduil's great hall. He wouldn't admit it, even under pain of death, but he'd been following the Snow Elves since they had left Lothlorien. He had his reasons, of course. Or rather, Galadriel had her reasons for giving him the order, and who was Haldir to disobey?

He meant no harm to the Snow Elves, nor to those of Mirkwood, but rumours were spreading about the possibility of evil reaching even this far from its realm, and his Lady had known, as she always knew, that the only way to defeat it would be for all of the races to work together. In this way, his mission was one of both surveillance, and also just one of peace keeping.

Ori // Dwarf // With: No One
Ori was worried. As he sat by the gates of Erebor, looking out toward what had been the battlefield, his mind was thinking over the gold sickness that seemed to be spreading to Fili. As his mind stewed on what would happened next for them, his hands busied themselves knitting a new pair of gloves, though in his turmoil he kept dropping his needles.
