Chris nodded and looked around before shifting into his wolf character, it wasn't so easy since his form like Nilin's was unique and even though he was a wolf his wings were a give away. He followed her to the clock tower and landed gently.

If he truly became attached to a shifter, he would struggle over turning them in (ultimately wouldn't), but he sees no harm in reporting strangers (both shifters and law breakers), such as petty thieves.

Augustine sat in her ginormous bedroom, looking out the window. She knew that she wasn't allowed outdoors in the dark of night, due to her fathers strict house rules, but yet she still wanted to explore what was forbidden. Her father wanted everyone in the house indoors by 8pm unless given special permission from him, he wanted her to marry a official or someone of the high class. In her opinion she thought he was insane. Although she was 18, he still treated her like a child, thinking of only himself in decisions. Augustine sighed and opened her sliding door to her balcony. William walked along the darkened streets of the city, observant and patient. Night always drew the vilest creatures in the city out, beckoning them with its sweet obscurity. William was absolutely certain that it was the perfect time for a shifter to live boldly. He awaited the sign of any suspicious behavior (well, according to him that is). "It's about time that the cockroaches seep out of the cracks," he said with a smirk. As usual, he found too much joy in such things. Perhaps, it was due to boredom, and the same observation day after day and night after night tired him. He awaited something new. He straightened the jacket of his uniform without letting his guard down for minute, not even to admire the night sky.

She quickly added, "I will do anything." All she had wanted was some feedwater(beer).
