taptothebeat never said that only quantity matters, they only felt like the entries were judged more like quality over quantity, not quality and quantity are worth the same like it was stated. c:
Quality will always be held in higher favour than quantity and to think otherwise is naive.
Quantity will only play a part in the judging as a tie breaker between two equally nice pieces when a decision cannot be made between them.

drawing many pieces of art is actually more of not only a time commitment but also effort. TToTT
Not it doesn't and no it isnt, to think otherwise is incredibly disrespectful and insulting to the winners, You have no idea how long they took on their artwork.
This whole thing is childish because believe it or not, your effort doesn't matter, the time you put into it or the nights you stayed up late at night worrying about, the only thing that matters is the final product you produce. You don't submit a giant back story telling the judge the effort you put into the piece because it doesn't matter. I put in two pieces or art that I spent a lot of time of, I didn't place and I don't care. Jelly has her reasons as she doesn't need to explain them to me, because all that matters is what she finds most attractive in the winners.
Art, and judging art, is subjective. Some people like one type of art, some people like the other. There are inherent risks of entering an art contest and you fully know that when you enter it, no one forced you. Don't try to put your bad feelings on jelly to guilt her.
If you have a problem, its your own and you should not try to place it on Jelly who ran an extremely profession contest and handled everything well. I'd know, I've run several art contests before.
If you have a problem with how this contest is run, don't enter an art contest again.
Any other issues, take it to PM, you're turning what was a lovely contest into a spectacle. Take your loses graciously.
