Whitestar awoke to the sun shining in his pale blue eyes. He didn't really want to get up, but he did knowing that he had an apprentice to train. He sat up and stretched, padding out of his den. He walked over to Blackstorm. "Can you organize the patrols?" He asked his deputy.

She sat up in her nest and yawned. She hadn't slept well last night. I think there is a thorn in my nest. She thought, noticing a tiny scratch on her side. She bent down and searched through the moss, finally she found what she was looking for. The thorn wasn't that big, but still it was painful. The scratch isn't too bad. I won't need any herbs for it. She thought as she padded into the clearing. She sat patiently as her mentor organized the patrols.

She woke up and sat up in her mossy nest. Noticing the sun was up, she quickly got up and walked out of the warriors den. She padded over to the apprentices den. "Wake up!" She called to her apprentice.

He looked down at Darkkit. "Hello." He purred. He always liked kits, but he felt a bit sorry for Darkkit. Considering she had no mother or father in NightClan.
