Graystream sighed and closed his eyes to force back tears, then reopened them and turned to Shallowcreek with a sad smile. "What about your parents? What happened to them?"

"Um..." Spiderheart cocked his head, clearly confused. "I thought you said that...Never mind." He stretched his legs with a grunt. "So how are you this morning?"
