*Sigh*

Alright. So feral cats might have some incest in real life - ignoring the fact that these cats are very heavily anthropomorphic, so it's still incredibly uncomfortable. But brother and sister? Really? How do you even mess up that badly? Did no one catch that while they were drawing the family trees? Or did Erin just think no one would notice because these are kids books?

... these are kids books, aren't they. That makes it even worse.

...
I just found out something.

Speckletail and Smallear have kits which are Lionheart, Goldenflower, and Snowkit. Goldenflower becomes mates with Tigerstar, and they have kits, which are Brambleclaw and Tawnypelt.
Which means one thing..
Lionheart is Brambleclaw's and Tawnypelt's uncle.

@Whisper: I don't actually mind the errors so much, thankfully. I was a little embarrassed that they were there, but I'm over it by now (I guess the idea of Sootstorm just holding up a microphone with such an annoyed look makes me laugh too hard to mind).
Firestar is an absolute mess, the more I think about it. Goodness gracious.

@Shadow: That is a perfect summary of this entire thread. I'll add up Duncton Wood to the list of read-throughs.

@Hollyleaf: That bit of information is incredibly disturbing, but your reply in the form of a picture cracked me up for some reason. Oh, God. I didn't even notice that they were related. And Graystripe and Longtail are half-siblings!

@MockSun: Yes. This is a kid's series. It's super garbage. (sighs right along with you)

@Unique: Oh dear. Well, it could be worse. He could have accidentally been Tigerstar's brother.

@Saturn: Concur'd.

My favorite things that I have seen in the books is the spelling errors that are the very first word that you read, I don't know ho w the editor(s) miss that.

We've got so many people here I'm not totally certain, but if you're new to the thread, welcome!

Some of the spelling errors are just absurd. I mean, it's a published book, for god's sake.

-Dumps down sleeping bag, grabs soda and chips, sets up IPad to watch movies in between updates-

Does anybody recall Brambleberry? She was the medicine cat of RiverClan in the Super Editions that took place before Rusty and all. She was white and speckled with black spots, not to mention she had icy blue eyes. Seriously, cats cannot have black spots [correct me if I'm wrong]. I though it's always whitespotting. You may argue she was a predominantly white bicolor but no, she is genuinely spotted. The only explanation is that she may be a brindled bicolor [it's a tortoiseshell with white instead of red fur] but that is literally a freak pattern. I couldn't even find an image on Google!

Yeah. Warriors. Realistic.
