Black hair and blue eyes. Fabian thought and stared at Shade as he told him, he poked his tongue out. "I guess black hair would explain the shade of your eyes, red haired people usually have green or a grey/blue sort of eyes" He conceded and then smiled cheekily.

"You'll look like such an emo Shadey" He teased and giggled and he lightly pulled his fingers through his blond hair, proud that that was his natural hair colour. He frowned when he thought of his eyes though, his eyes were a pretty shade of blue, but he covered that with his peach contacts.

'Girlfriend.' It cracked like lighting through her soul and Sunda couldn't help but physically recoil, taking a step back. She grit her teeth viciously, biting back an insult as she remembered what she had said this morning. 'Jer deserves to be happy, he deserves for me to support him. He's done so much for me.' She thought. "I should get going." She quipped, making the agonizing decision to leave the two love birds. Jer didn't look like he needed her help, he would have hinted to her otherwise.

Turning around she begun to make her way out of the alley, wondering if any bar would be open at this time as she contemplated falling back into bad habits. 'I wake up rotten drunk and puking out my ears and as soon as a little hiccup in my life comes along I want to get trashed again. I have got to learn to deal with this better.' She thought, though she had no plans to start now.

Jer's eyes widened as Bella announced she wouldn't be discouraged and was utterly determined to become his girlfriend. Not knowing how to respond, he saw Sunda's physical recoil and heard her sharp, quipped tone. He grimaced on the inside and called, "Wait, Sunda!" His voice was pleading. He didn't think he could handle Bella alone, not without being mean anyway. He glanced down at the pretty girl on his arm, to find she was staring up at him. A little blush crept into her cheeks as their gazes locked and he was the first to look away.

"Errr...I won. You still haven't paid for my dinner." Jer complained weakly, trying desperately to get his friend back. He actually hadn't gotten a chance to eat his prime rib, as Sunda had demanded they kiss literally right before he was about to cut into the meat. His stomach clenched angrily. He hadn't had anything to fill it since that morning.

"Yeah, but a sexy emo," Shade replied, grinning both cheekily and mischievously. He glanced up as Van exited his room and his eyes widened a bit to see that his mother's gift fit Van absolutely perfectly. It was a short, cocktail like dress, that could easily by played down into a "going out" type of outfit, and was made to be worn by someone with a slim, and rather curvy frame. Its color was a rich chocolate brown, and one sleeve was purposefully meant to hang off the shoulder. The swooping neckline, and exposing cut of the dress looked quite good on his friend.

Shade nudged Fabe and let out a low whistle. "I'll have to compete today to be the most pretty." He complained teasingly, poking out his tongue at the both of them. He tossed Van a pair of black boots she had left ages ago, and she slipped them on, looking like some fashion diva. He grinned and got to his feet, extending a hand for Fabe.

"Let's go rock the mall."

'I thought he liked the girl?' She couldn't help but blink at the needy tone in Jer's voice as he called out for her and sadly, her mind quickly circled the gutter 'I wonder if he'd sound like that if we ever...' She couldn't help cover her lewd smirk with her hand, feigning contemplation. "After the [censored] I just pulled back there I'd say we were even." She snickered, casting Bella a secret knowing look that screamed 'I did something you can't do~'

"Where do you wanna go?" She quipped, hoping to God the brunette didn't invite herself along, 'Come on, Jer, for once in your life don't be a gentleman.' But she knew it was lost, Jer would be to nice to deny the girl a second time.

Bella watched Sunda turn around, her amber eyes unable to hide disappointment. The girl had been wanting to spend some time with Jer, to get to know him better and to find out the qualities he liked in a woman. She sighed and cast his friend another look, though this one was unreadable.

"Well, I can see you two are busy. I'll go now." She said, smiling a little sadly. She pulled away from Jer, releasing his arm, and pushed her slender hands behind her back. She made as if to walk away, then suddenly leaned up and kissed him on the cheek, closing her eyes for a brief second before she darted away, past Sunda, but not without giving him a challenging glance first. She had a feeling that Sunda was more than met the eye when it came to Jer and may be Bella's one and only serious competitor. She rounded the corner and was gone.

Jer watched Bella go, lifting his hand to his cheek for a moment, before letting it drop. He sighed and ran his slender fingers through his blond hair, before letting his sandy-colored gaze rest on Sunda. "I don't really care where we go. We could head back to my place if you want I guess." His tone was subdued, like he had a lot on his mind and was only barely there.

"Did she just-?!" Sunda spluttered after Bella had left with a kiss to Jer's cheek, leaving Sunda to battle down the storms of rage and jealously within her. Casting a foul glance to Jer, Sunda bit out "What, the f**k, was that?" her fists clenching in hatred. 'Nobody, and I mean nobody kisses Jer except for me.' Sunda's possessive wants flaring up, but they were smothered as another little voice piped up in her mind 'Jer has to be happy remember? He can't happy with us like that. He needs a girlfriend, not a boyfriend.'

"You know what? Just forget it. It's none of my business what you do." Sunda said as she glided a hand through her hair in a nervous action. 'The plus side of Bella coming is that Jer forgot about what he was asking me. Bullet dodged on that one.' Sunda thought, "Yeah, let go back to your place, I'll buy you dinner another time." She quipped as they began walking back to her car. Leaning over, she bumped shoulders with Jer, "That had to have been the craziest date ever." She said with a snicker.

Jer rested his head against the wall of the alleyway, staring aimlessly at the grime-covered bricks. His sandy-colored eyes were narrowed in confusion and a bit of sorrow, but it came across as more intent than upset. He winced lightly as Sunda grew angry about Bella kissing him on the cheek. More subdued than ever, Jer thought, If nothing is destined to happen between us...than why is Sunda always so upset when another girl comes into the picture? And for that matter, why don't I see Bella as a possible girlfriend? When she kissed me, I felt nothing. At all.

His eyebrows pulled together and he straightened up, following Sunda. Her aloof and rather uncaring words raked his heart a little and he slipped into the car, murmuring only a small, "Yeah." With a click of his seat belt, he stared outside the window, feeling more lost than ever. The image of he and Sunda kissing popped back into his head with surprising ferocity and it took all his might to push it away. He couldn't let himself believe that it had been anything more than a stupid kiss. After all, a kiss didn't mean anything unless the two kissing had feelings for one another. If those feelings were nonexistent, then the kiss was merely a brush of the lips.
