Jesse blinked in surprise, not quite expecting that to happen. This son of Lord Death... His reaction to losing one of his guns was... well, Interesting, as Alri would put it.

"Jesse, now!" Aori called to him, and he blinked away his confusion as he nodded, swiftly moving and holding both Katanas across Kidd's neck in an 'x' formation. Breathing deeply, he stepped away, nodding to him as he let go of Aori. Aori transformed back into her normal self, and she blinked, smiling as she held out both hands for him to take, guessing his symmetrical problems.
