After waking up extremely early, she got dressed and hurried to school, apple in mouth, still putting on her backpack. She'd eat breakfast at school. Until then an apple would suffice. She ran quickly, and ended up one of the first people there. She sat down, and pulled out one of her two lunchboxes. She always packed two, one for lunch, of course, and one for breakfast. She quickly ate her breakfast and sat there thinking. She always hurried in the mornings, but she never knew why. She just did. She didn't really have anything to do, so she headed to the classroom, to go read at her desk. She did have that algebra book to read...

Kiko snorted softly, knowing the comment for what it was after this long. She had to jog for a few seconds, but she quickly reached Mayumi and matched her pace as they headed for school. "Maybe I wouldn't sleep in so much if I didn't have such a convenient musical alarm clock." She answered with a smile.

After she finished the 304 pg. long algebra book, she reread the harry potter series. She liked to read, but read extremely fast so by now she had read the entire library twice. She was going for three times now. It's not like she had anything else to do. People thought she was a crazy nerd. Everyone avoided her, and those who didn't, didn't notice her. She sighed as she pulled out the harry potter series.

As class started, Mami was in her seat of the year three room A. She waited patiently for the teacher to take roll and start, as Harui stumbled in. "Uh, sorry I'm late!" Her hair was a mess, as always. She pulled it back and took her seat, gaining another detention. She couldnt do that, she had Witches to fight!"

Ignoring the teacher she continued reading. She was halfway through... When the teacher called her name she answered without looking up. She mouthed the words as she read. she could recite every word if she was told to. And... There it was! Voldemort was dead... She closed the 7th book and tried to think of what to do tomorrow. She'd read Harry Potter four times now...

"Perhaps I'll just start waiting for you at school then." Mayumi teased, flat as she ever was. It didn't take long for them to arrive and they chatted along the way. Despite being together almost every day of break, they still found stories to swap and idle chatter to fill the time as they got to the classroom. Taking their seats just a few minutes before class and fell into a pleasant silence as the teacher came front and center for roll call. Mayumi placed Kiko's notebook on her desk with a very small and soft smile. "You left this at my house over break, I made sure to put it in my bag last night for you."

"I thought I..." Kiko frowned before shaking her head. "Thanks." She could have sworn she had had that notebook in her bag when she had left Mayumi's house. Not that she had been bothered to check, but still. Oh well, she had it now, thanks to Mayumi. She glanced around the room quickly before leaning back slightly in her chair as class started.

Mayumi sat up straight in her seat as class began and opened her own notebook to a fresh page to take notes as soon as the lesson began. As per usual, she copied down the lecture verbatim in clean, clear writing. Years of habit had allowed her to do this with relative ease, and at any pause her hand instead moved over to the margins, writing out shorthand music notation, a continuation of the piece that was on the margins from the last page. She glanced up often whenever she did this, taking care to make sure she didn't miss anything important. She glanced over at Kiko every once in a while as well, making sure her friend hadn't forgotten anything else.

Only partly paying attention to the class, Kiko had opened her newly returned notebook and immediately ended up sketching a design in it instead of taking notes. Every so often she'd glance up and maybe scribble a word or two down, but she would then immediately return to the design, often erasing parts of it or even the entire thing, occasionally frowning as she did.
