She hopped on her horse and looked down at him. "Well, I'm just wasting time until eight. Know of any places around here you want to go to?"

"... i do believe we still have a date to see the undertaker about your assistance ... do we not?" he soon smirked, turning his head over his shoulder to look to her, swinging his cane around his finger. "we wouldn't want to keep the good man waiting ..." he chuckled, now turning and walking down the street, leaving the tricycle there on the corner of the sidewalk ... though it's appearance was odd - almost worn down as some stray rain drops washed away the paint it once had on.

"You're not taking your beloved tricycle?" Kaii asked as her horse trotted after him. She looked back over her shoulder at it. "It looks a little depressing." Then she turned back ahead. "Want to ride on Achilles? I'll walk."

"do not worry my dear lady ... everything has got to die sometimes ..." he smiled, continuing to walk as eventually, all the fake paint it had on revealed it's rusted and worn-down colours. "as for riding on your horse, i do believe he doesn't like me very much, so i will continue walking ~" he chuckled softly.

Kaii looked back at the tricycle, frowning a bit at its rusted colours. Then she turned again back ahead. "No, and he likes most people." She said, then thought about what that said about Lucius. Maybe the horse sensed something she didn't. She studied Lucius in a new light.

"I'm not a very good animal person, most of them seem to dislike me ... all but a select few it seems." he replied simply, as if it didn't mean much to him. "I don't mind too much, as i feel caring for an animal would be detrimental more toward it instead of myself with my line of work. I would rarely have time to care for it, and i would not want that for any creature." he added.

Kaii shrugged. Now she wasn't letting her guard down around him. She had already told him one piece of her life. Now it was time to go back to that unattainable and impassive woman she had been her whole life. "I see," she said. "Well, if I do hire you to look after my house -if I stay around an acquire one- I hope you get used to looking after Achilles and Tu'Pa."

[ liquid souls? ... i bet they taste like a mix of soy sauce and marmite ... not very good ... and very slow runny - like syrup, but thick syrup, not thin syrup ... yuck ]

"i will be sure to do the best i can dear lady, you have my word." he said simply, almost like a butler would, as he placed one hand on his chest in promise. He then began to hum a soft tune as he twirled his cane in hand, looking forward as he continued to walk, at a rather quick pace actually, yet didn't seemed tired at all.

She continued to sleep, her head tilted slightly toward the window as her mind played the gentle melody Shore had sung her in her dream. [ wb for Ashley ; _ ; ]
