Those blue eyes are fixed no-where in particular, and yet while he is watching he seems to not be. The male wolf shakes out his pelt with barely concealed rage - not really at her, yet not not at her iether. She was an alpha wolf who for-now he had pledged featilty. What had made him make such a rash desire? Why? He would obey - that is in his nature; somewhere. "I understand, but believe me when I say that I have more to teach then you would believe possible Alphess." Soldier rumbles - lifting his head. He is almost ready to give up the sharade and stare down any who dare appose him. To fight, and possibly kill them. Almost. Not quite.

Lykaios stays silent as he watches her close her eyes and drift off to sleep in a way that is almost too tranquil.

He takes in a deep breath, ears twitching forward a bit in surprise as she moves closer into his side - the feeling's pleasant, though, for her pelt is softer than his and her heat something he could get used to. He spends a moment watching the small she-wolf in silent contemplation. "Soulmates, huh?" He whispers into the cool cave air, softly enough as so not to disturb her. He's never given that topic much thought before - finding a mate, that is. He's never considered getting one, but maybe, just maybe...

He gently lies his larger head next to hers, feeling her side push against him in her breathing. His eyes stare outside the cave, past the trees, almost, and then they shut close to drift off into blissful sleep.

Nebbia lifted her gaze back towards Soldier once again "I realize, and I am willing to learn as much as you wish to teach me." She told him with a soft voice. The icy wind picking up causing more icy snow to blow into her already frozen fawn colored pelt. "The healer's den is right here, it's more underground than anything, but it's one of the warmest dens two which is why it's the Healer's den. When there are pups this is were they and there mother would stay in the winter if they are still to young and fragile to bare the elements." Nebbia explained simply, pushing aside a bush in the entrance in order to go into the den.

"Soji get back, you're too injured to continue this fight." Azar barked to his younger brother. "Azar you should know I never back down in a fight!" Soji barked with a growl. Azar smiled before he returned to the fight, The four of them had a slight run in with some other loners and right now the fight wasn't looking good. Riki growled as he and the wolf he was fighting got into it, they kept going at the throats knowing that they could get the other if they could get to the throat. All four brutes were badly wounded but the other loners were in the same condition. Chiari managed to kill the loner, throwing the body into the river before laying down to catch his breath. Riki let out a growl as him and Azar managed to chase the other three wolves off. "Azar,Chiari,Soji. Go ahead and rest, after that ya'll deserve it. I'll keep watch." Riki said to the three brutes, "But Riki, You need the rest." Soji said, he was worried for the brute but Riki just gave him a kind smile. "I'll be fine Soji, just rest." Riki said, the three brothers nodded before laying down to rest a bit while Riki lapped up some water before sitting down to keep watch.

(The loners my characters fought are no ones, I just brought in four random wolves to do this ^^)

(How i start most of the time cause I don't really know what else to do with them at first *rubs neck sheepishly*)

(@ Laughing Jack - your wolves could follow Nebbia and Soldier to Camp, or wind up at the cave where Malone and Laikaios are, then we can rp with you.) (if needed I can make 2 more wolves - one male, one female, or two of one or the other. Four is my max)

Silence - at last. Malone is asleep to the pittering of soft snow, and the stillness that is winter - save for breath. Breath that soon matches her own in a strange lullaby. The silver wolf dreams then of running, and playing; of a full belly, and hot sun-shine - of what it may be like to be in a pack that wasn't toxic. Benieth thin lids, green eyes dance as she envisions many futures - none of which she believes will come true.

"I have no.... issue.. with pups and Queens." replies the huge male with a flick of his ears to ward off contempt. Him? Hurt a pup? He'd rather die! Soldier follows her into the den - brawny shoulders barely making it, scrapping the earth tunnels and roots which hold their shape - he looses loose fur in the process, not too much, but when they stop they are in a larger area - an underground, quite warm, cave. Old herbs, and old scents meet his blue eyes and ever-twitching nose - it matters not. The piles are neat, and none are here which would bother Soldier. "A nice place, your previous Medicine Wolf picked a good place, and knew their herbs well."

"He did... River was always a wolf who had to have everything in perfect order. If one leaf was out of place he'd freak out and try and fix everything else around it." Nebbia smiled fondly at the memory of her old friend. Even though her and the medicine wolf had been best friends, when she was younger she had no interest in herbal remedies as she was more focused on improving on her skills to get farther up in the pack. The small smile still on her face as she sat back down now beginning to feel her once frozen fur melt as the heat of the cave warmed her up.

Lykaios doesn't dream often.

He doesn't understand why he suffers from this lack of vision in his sleep - there's no twisting colors that leave him awestruck, nothing for him to think about when he wakes up, only to forget a little later. But this time there's a warmth pressed against his, soft and small, something to be cherished. And he sees a symphony of colors that expand from the sky to the ground in a blur of vivid yellows and purples, greens that stretch and wave at the heavens above.

It's a twilight escapade and he's almost taken back by this sight. He sees elk that wander the fields, holding a sort of excellence with other wolves gently chasing after the ghostly visions. The wolves are lightly colored, transparent save for their white outlines and a soft glow; and Lyakios doesn't understand why he's standing there, shocked by this sight of beauty and grace, by this image of the stars.

He doesn't mind, though, if he cannot contemplate it. It gives him all the more to think about it as he wanders the cool grass, wind nipping at his scruff.
