She is a normal sweet gal.She hates going with the crowd and can be bold a lot of times. Usually you can see her being lazy, and a couch potato, but besides that- she is energetic! Not a ball of energy, but still a lot of spunk.
She can be VERY protective at times, but tries to not be sometimes. She can also have a lot of stress at times, sometimes over nothing. She can be pretty paranoid at times too- from things like "Did I forget to blow out the house candle before I left the house?" afraid that she may burn the house down.

Huo got off the plane.She was sick.She had already puked once on the plane , of course to her luck- not in the air sickness bag,like planned.Instead she puked in the middle of the row she was sitting in.(since she was sitting in the edge seat.) *Puking noises* "Oh dang" I say.Its right as we are getting off the plane, so I exit awkwardly while apologizing to the flight attendant crew.They rolled their eyes, and Maxwell is laughing so hard."Shut up-" I say, but he just giggles."We are here!" Our whole family says while smiling. We are finally in Hawaii! The smell of fresh air, and the sight of leis everywhere is beautiful.It smells like tropical flowers.... These pretty girls in hula suits put leis on us, and smile. Maxwell takes this in and whispers "that is going to be my girlfriend one day!" And my parents snicker at the comment.LIKELY that its going to happen. We check in (takes us a whole hour ;-;) and get to the room.It smelled like room service had just been in there, and it smelled nice! We get unpacked and headed down to the water park.Maxwell was dress in his bathing suit, and I was in a bikini.Mother and father were in regular clothes covering their bathing suits.We get a small spot on a pool chair, and I got to the water slides "longest line ever!" I hear Maxwell say. I take him seriously this time as he is right.... We wait in the hour or so long line to go on a tube slide. "Weeeeeeeeeeee" we both remark going down, we hit, "Splash!" We hear. The lifeguard is sitting in the shallow water waiting for us to get off, then he takes the raft. A girl is waiting at the bottom and she smiles-like she likes Maxwell's enthusiasm for waterparks, even if he was a teenager. "Oh hey-" Max says - I give him a small smack , like as I don't want him to downright ruin a chance for a girl friend, on the first day.I try to start a conversation,and boom.They have a small dinner date at the Luau. 9:00 pm sharp. It passes by fast, since those lines. A fun day of swimming and waterslides, we dry off.I am in a nice Hawaiian dress, from the giftshop- while Max is wearing a flowery shirt, and shorts.My parents are in their regular clothes.That is when Max spots the girl.She is wearing a bright orange dress to match her fur. She kinda smiles and walks up to him.She then shows him a boy."That is my boyfriend!Jake!" He gives him a smirk like he was lucky...I wanted to see if you wanted to be our friend, since it was only us, and we wanted to make a friend .Max accepted he wasn't going to have her as a girlfriend.To this day they are both good friends, but he got friend zoned on the first night....at dinner.

she can be a mood swing of emotions, like a fire, going from happy, sad to furious, to calm. She also loves the summer time, and fireworks so it really fit her coat, but some say her coat colors matched her personality at birth.

One note-I am truely sorry for the lack of art. I do not have any other programs put ms paint and creating her fading and blurred effects is really hard, plus I do not own a drawing tablet, which makes it even harder. Artemis is very emotionless almost. She seems more like
a warrior then anything. She is very protective over her
family and will fight for them if she has to. Artemis is
often mistaken as a male because of her more tom boyish
out look. She is very smart and cunning, able to figure out
her enemy and out smart them through sheer wit. Artemis
only shows emotion when around her family. She cares
deeply about them and will do anything for them just to
make sure they are safe. Most of the time, she will sacrifice
happiness just to make sure they are safe. Artemis is also
very blunt and speaks her mind, not caring if she insults
somebody. Artemis does secretly love children and yet
hides this so she doesn't seem weak. Artemis is very calm
and collected, even though she is easily annoyed, she
always hides it. Artemis is very formal also, tending to
call others sir or miss. She does lose the formality around
her close friends and family. When with her family, she
loves to have fun and enjoy herself. She tries not to act
like a cold, emotionless warrior around her family because
they are family. On the inside, Artemis does dream of having
children and a mate one day, but doesn't let those thoughts
detract her often. Yet when she is alone, she will think of
the perfect mate and dream of having a family of her own.
Even though Artemis is barely an adult, she is very mature,
but like most people, she does have her immature moments,
both those are rare and happen most around her family.

As a child, Artemis always knew she was different. She was
rather proud to be different and didn't care what others
thought of her. She grew up, acting like a protector. Her
brother often got annoyed when she stood up for him, but
she never cared. Artemis grew up, learning on how to fight
and defend her family. She wanted to be a protector and
helper. She even wanted to join the military, but passed
the idea up because she would be away from her family.
At the age of eighteen, she got a job as a bouncer at a club
because of her personality and the fact she is a master fighter
and is very skilled when it comes to defending herself and
others. About a month later, a near by dojo gave her an offer
as a teacher and she gladly took the job. She easily jumbles
the two jobs so they work together. Artemis now lives a happy
life, one she couldn't be happier about.

Alanie
Alani is her mother, who Artemis is rather close to. She loves her mom and wants to do her best to make her mother happy and proud of her. Artemis is always trying to impress her mom or just to hang out. As a child, Artemis rarely left her mothers side and always found it amusing to ruining the bonding moments between her mother and father just so she could cuddle with her mother.

Artemis is also rather close with her father, but not as close to him as she is with her father. She often tried to get him to take her fishing, hiking, or hunting just for fun. She also wanted to make her father proud of her just like she does with her mother, but not as much. Artemis loves to hang out with her father randomly.
Maxwell
Unlike her brother, Artemis is almost the complete opposite of Maxwell, which causes a bit of conflict between them. She was always trying to protect him, which would have caused a bit of fighting because of that. Yet Artemis loves her brother very dearly and would do anything to help him out.

Artemis stretches, yawning. She shakes her head, dressed in swim trunks, a bikini top, and a tank top. She walks out of the small beach house her parents had rented for the week. Alani, Artemis's mother, wanted to go to the beach for a week. So here they are. Artemis ruffles her short brown hair, the orange streaks fading after weeks of being washed. Artemis hums softly, hearing laughter and playfully shouts. She scans the beach, finally seeing three shapes. She cracks a smile and jogs over to the figures. Also they came into focus, showing her mother, father, and brother. Maxwell darts into the water, grinning. Artemis chuckles and heads over. He waves to her. "Artemis!" He says with a smile. Artemis waves slightly. More like a single motion of her creating an arch in front of her.
"How is the water?" She asks.
Maxwell smirks, a sly look crossing his features. Artemis is quickly on high alert as she watches her brother. She dares to move closer, only to be splashed by her brother. He starts to laugh and back up in the water as she yelps in shock. The water is cold! Artemis scowls playfully and runs towards Maxwell. He starts laughing, running away. "Get back here!" Artemis shouts.
"Never!" Maxwell laughs.
Artemis shouts playful curses after him as she chases him around the beach. It takes her about ten minutes to finally tackle her brother, but sadly it's in the water, so both go under. She let's go and surfaces quickly. She gasps for air as her brother surfaces, laughing away. he pouts at her as Artemis starts to shiver. Thanks to the running around, her body temperature rose and now the water is even colder against her rather tan skin. She never did have pale skin, but a smooth creamy brown. She grins at he brother and slowly backs up. Maxwell splashes her. She starts to laugh and splashes him back, soon they enter a splashing war, ending up with them just wrestling with each other. Artemis pulls away and heads over to their parents, who chuckle softly at them. Artemis shakes her head like a dog and laughs. She looks at her brother as he also walks towards the beach. Alani smiles at them as Artemis grabs her towel and wraps it around herself. Maxwell just places his towel on his head and grins widely. "That was fun!" Artemis muses.
Velocity just laughs at them. He ruffles their hair and grins at. Artemis smiles at her dad before glancing at her mom. She closes her eyes, smiling happily. Best vacation so far. She really does wish that this never ends.

My name is Tai. Huo Tai. I am the daughter of Tai Yang and Yue, the God of the Sun and the
Moon Goddess. I am sister to Shui, the water goddess, and Aung, the deity of Light. You
may see me as I am, a plain plumerian from an ordinary family,but I am much more than
my whole. I now know the full story of my downfall,and the curse that put me to sleep
since the beginning of time.
I can remember a few things from my past life. I can remember fire...which I was named
for. I can remember a battle, blood, and tears. I can remember that intense heat of life
that powers all living things. And I know that fire is life, yet death. You see me now
as a mere mortal, destined to walk this world from one life after another, thousands of
years since my creation. I played my role in the building of this world, and although an
immortal being like me will watch over this world forever, I was cursed, and after our
tireless work on this world was finished, spirits plotted against me. And those spirits
succeeded. I don't know how long it has been, but I know who I am. This is the story of
my quest for the truth, my honor, and my immortality.

I am cursed. Huo Tai's first thought echoed in her mind as she woke. It was an ordinary morning,
and she knew that dreams could be deceiving, but why had that one seemed so...real?
Tai shook her head the clear the thoughts, but before she had a chance to get up, a
brilliant light shone through the open window. An eerily familiar voice echoed through
her head. "Tai...It is about time you learned the truth..." the voice called, and Tai
snapped her eyes open. "...Aung? Is that...you?" The voice of her brother when she was
a deity appeared before her. He still had golden fur and glowing markings, but there was
something in his eyes that she had never seen before. Wariness? Envy? Sadness? Anger?
"Being a deity for thousands of years has not been easy," he said, "I have seen things
that are too horrible to bear. This world that the deities created is not what it once was."
Flashes of anger and panic stabbed through her head as she saw what Aung had seen.
War...destruction...sickness...but also hope. Aung was still there, and he looked more
serious than he had ever looked when he said, 'You have been asleep for too long. It is my
duty to restore your memories. You were fallen in a great battle.....
...the ground flashed beneath her paws, angry shouts behind her...but she had to keep
running. She risked a glance back to see as misty spirit rise out of the ground behind
her. Tian! The goddess of the sky chased after her, a shining bracelet on her arm. Tai
kept running, running...something was wrong. What had she done? All those lives for
nothing...yet there was nothing she could do to contain the raging fire within. Burning,
dying. Everything she had done. In her split second's hesitation Tian made an enormous
leap and pinned her down, the mist from her paws countering the searing heat that rose
from Tai's paws. There was sadness and envy in her voice as she whispered, "I'm sorry,
friend. But you cannot be here while this world is thriving. It is the duty of the gods to
stop you...I envy you, Tai. Without the weight of the world in your paws...you have truly
been blessed. Then she clamped the other end of the chain on her bracelet onto Tai's paw...
And the world blurred, spun, and became blank.
Tai opened her eyes. Huo Tai, the Fire goddess. She had been stopped because Tian feared
that she would threaten the world. Tai touched the wooden posts of her bed. Nothing. By this
time, Aung had gone. Carefully feeling around her room, she poked a box of matches. It did
not burst into flames. Tian was right; she had been blessed. But as she glanced out to the
night sky her blood froze. The light was gone; it was night. There was a fire in the distance.
And worst of all, a cry split the night, piercing through the sky and befalling all the stars...
FIRE IS LIFE, BUT ALSO DEATH...


Her Present Family:
Huo Tai loves her parents Alani and Velocity more than she did her god parents. Tai Yang and Yue almost never
had any time for her, and her emotionless sister Shui and glowing Aung that everyone loved practically took
the light off of her. Huo gets along well with her brother Maxwell, although he DOES try to hide her belongings
every once in a while. The family go off on cruises to Hawaii, snowboarding in Alaska--everywhere. And Max is
about as attached to her tail as her feathers. Huo believes that she was a good spirit in her past life, and was
gifted a blessing to be in a family as warm and cozy as hers.
