Sighing from being bored he pawed at a leaf. Getting up he padded toward the forest. His paws soon brought him to a lake. He gazed at his reflection in the water. I should of done better to protect my pack..he thought. It's my fault there dead.

Umber woke up at the crack of dawn. He sat up and looked at Lily, and smiled.

Lily continued to sleep soundly as her belly rumbled with hunger.

I think I'll hunt Umber thought, he went out further in the forest. He soon saw a deer and brought it down, though it wasn't easy. He walked back to Lily and laid the deer next to her. He nudged her "Lily. Food." he said.
