Tauriel was sure now - it had to be him! She slid down the roof and landed, though not as gracefully as she had originally planned. She staggered a bit when she landed, and essentially stumbled right into Kili. She wasn't usually that off-balance, and she sent silent thanks to the stars that neither Legolas nor Thranduil had been there to see that.

[ack okay I'm restarting with Bilbo now that I have more context XD:]

Bilbo let out a content sigh as he approached the Shire. He'd only brought a few treasures back with him - a single chest of precious metals, Sting, and of course...that precious ring. He slipped his hand into his pocket just to feel the smooth gold against his fingertips. Taking in the blue skies, the green grass, the quaint little Hobbit homes, he set off down the hill and towards his house.
He was understandably upset when he saw all his possessions being auctioned off. "Wh-that's my chair...What is going on???" He waved his arms and stormed up to his home, where the bidding was taking place. "Stop!"

Kili

Kili's eyes widened as Tauriel landed completely ungracefully in front of him. He smiled the biggest grin ever and hugged her tightly. He only reached about a quarter of the way up her torso, but he didn't care. She was here. She was by him. His heart could beat once more.

Tauriel gasped when she felt Kili wrap his arms around her, but her surprise was quickly replaced with utter joy. He was unharmed, and she had found him! She readily returned his embrace, overwhelmed with content. "I thought I might never see you again," she whispered softly, holding him tightly.

Kili

Kili replied "That is world I wouldn't want to live in." He squeezed her tighter then added "What happened after the battle? I thought I was dead there for a while. All I remember was me waking up, blood everywhere, and the faintest trace of you lingering in the air."

[Teekl]

Tauriel gave a weak smile. "...Well...we did not think you would make it for a while...but I managed to heal you, as I did before. I desired to stay by your side until you had regained consciousness, but...I felt that it was only right to leave you in the care of your kin until you fully recovered." she looked him over, slightly concerned. "Do you feel ill at all?" she hoped there weren't any aftereffects.

Kili

Kili slowly began to release her from his passionate hug as he replied "I am fine, better now I know that you are safe." He smiled and wondered how he was going to repay her for saving him multiple times. All he knew was that he would protect her for as long as he lived, and that he would die for her. He then added "How are you? How are things in Mirkwood?"

Húlden Rohinian

Húlden galloped her horse into the forest of Mirkwood, into the Woodland relm. She pulled her horse into a sliding stop in front of two guards in front of an entrance into Thranduil's palace. "I come bearing urgent news from Rohan for King Thranduil!" She told them.

Tauriel frowned a little. "Not well...the woodlands are still growing sick, and creatures of darkness still linger near." her eyes gained a distant, far-off look. "And I do not believe I would be entirely welcomed back there." she knew Legolas would have no qualms about her returning, but his father was a different story. Her recent escapade and her inner conflict over Kili had made her seem a fickle choice for captain of the guard, and she had disobeyed one of Thranduil's decrees.

Kili

He frowned saying "Why wouldn't they want you back? Why did you leave in the first place? I thought you were Thranduil's guard captain?" He could see that she looked distressed and thought *All isn't well in Erebor ether...* His mind wandered back to the halls of Erebor, the gold, the mines... Thorin had become obsessed. A sickness lay on the gold, and it was poising Thorin and it was beginning to poison his brother Fili. He shook his head trying to clear the thoughts from his head and focused back on Tauriel's issue.

Legolas Greenleaf

Legolas continued to mumble for a bit, until he noticed that his fathers eyes were closed. "Father? Father? FATHER?" he yelled

Thranduil Greenleaf
The Elvenking jerked awake as his son basically yelled at the top of his lungs, automatically thinking they had been invaded. He pulled out his sword, only to realize it was just Legolas. "What's the meaning of all this yelling, Legolas?"

Guard #1
The guard arrived with the snow elves shortly after Hulden appeared. He nodded to the other guards and they moved out of the way before pushing the door to their underground kingdom open.
