What does he collect?
Emitt collects items full of pigment. They're usually colorful items like bright opal, shiny metals (like copper), vibrant fruits, and neon adornments like jewelry and socks.
Emitt was born blind like those of his kind, so developing a picture of the real world visually had always been somewhat difficult. After hitting adolescence, he developed an unusual way of seeing things mentally.
Emitt is a color empath and therefore imagines sensing and feeling in colors. When he touches bright things like pink neon socks he can feel the color pink. Or when he touches bright metal he feels the metallic shine. Emitt rather enjoys this aspect of his mental vision and collects vivid items to the point of being called a hoarder (though he's quite the neat-freak when it comes to organizing his collection; he has a whole shed built of scrap metal to house his pigment collection).

He collects items that tell stories that you don't need eyes to see. In short, he collects stories. His favorites? Those told told to him.

Where can you find him?
Editon is blind, and thus he depends on his other senses to help him 'see' the world. His favorite senses are smell and taste, natural fruits and other flavors giving him the outlook on life he's missed when he was younger. Because of these heightened senses, he enjoys being outside and away from the harsh desert sands of Purgatory. These times are rare, so you can also find him in bakeries and other kitchen areas where he can dig into something sweet.

How does he defend himself?
In such a harsh wasteland, surely he must have some sort of defense? Actually, no. With his disability (though he doesn't see it that way.) it can be hard to fight back, besides he's usually the peaceful one. For defense, the best he can do is lash out quickly, guerrilla style, and flee as fast as he can without running into something. Hey, it's worked so far.
