Ashrai soon made it to the injured wolf. She noticed it was Akita and she gasped at the sight in front of her. There was blood and a heavy scent of a bear. Piecing it together, she soon was carrying Akita on her back and running back to the healer's den.

Akita felt herself being lifted off the ground and a small groan escaped her lips. Her flank started bleeding heavily with the movement and she was soon very dizzy and weak from loss of blood.

Lily soon retuned back to camp. She whimpered before going and hiding back in the omega den, hungry but knowing she cannot eat from the kill pile.

Ashrai set her down in the healer's den. She had felt her start to bleed and she was worried for her. She tried to stop the bleeding for as long as possible by applying pressure to her wound.

Ashrai scrambled out of the cave, trying to find a healer. She soon ran into Sage and was dragging her to the healer's den. Spewing out words she quickly explained that Akita had been attacked by a bear and was bleeding a lot.

Sage found herself being tugged along to the medicine den, Ashrai mumbling about a bear attack. She scrambled into the cave and saw the new wolf, laying lifeless on the floor. She suddenly snapped into action, making pastes and pulps of herbs. She swathed her bite in cobwebs and moss and trickled on the soothing juices of marigold. She forced thyme down her throat to soothe her shock, along with a poppy seed to help her sleep. She took two sticks and placed them on either side of her legs. She took a dried reed and wrapped it around the two sticks, making a splint for her leg. She stood back, pleased, and licked the rest of her small cuts clean. "She'll be okay, I think." She murmured, hoping her words were true.
