Sites that DO NOT allow off-site trading [Old thread]

Those are not my rules...
But we're not going to allow people to break ToS of other sites.

but they are not your sites to control. if we want to risk our accounts on OTHER sites it should not be up to you (my personal opinion) if we are ok with the risk and understand it we should be allowed....considering you say "We discourage trading CS pets/items for pets/items/currencies from these sites as we respect their rules and we ask you to do the same."


'discouraging' is not the same as do not do.

Obviously we are not going to punish someone for breaking other site's rules, however, we are not going to disrespect other sites and their staff by allowing or promoting breaking their rules. So no, you are not allowed to advertise or trade your CS stuff for content from sites that do not allow off-site trading.

Just by the way, when you sign up to a site you agree to follow all of that site's rules. If you do not agree with all of their rules, then you should not and cannot use their services.

Nowhere does it say
"Valley of Unicorns does NOT allow offsite trading" on their rules page

Notes on Off-site Trading
Off-site trading is allowed, but only with other sites that also allow it. BUT these kinds of trades are NOT supported. If any deals that take place off-site go sour there is nothing the staff will be able to do. You'll only take part in these trades at your own risk.

And the original post was made by the ADMIN of VoU, but the mod has moved it over to the new core

They might want to reword their TOS then because there it says you can't trade their contents for anything. Since their threads aren't available for public view, we'll go by what can be seen in their rules and TOS.

I think what Sorren means is not everyone can see it due to not having an account. I'm not sure if a screenshot would work because it could change.

Yes it means GaiaOnline. I'm pretty sure you can't trade off site on Maplestory but I will need to search around the ToS for it unless someone has found it already.
