snow nodded. "we need all the food we can get." the pretty delta said. she stood and padded outside. she then went over to hawk, the alpha male." hawk. i will be back. i am getting some prey this loner is sharing with the pack." she said to the alpha.

dragon woke up, feeling a weight being lifted off of him. he yawned and stood, knocking off crystal. he looked at her apologetically and looked at his sisters leave.

marble nodded and padded out of the den. she looked as her sister went to a pair of wolves. she stood near the edge of camp, ready to bound away to where her den was.

Crystal fell off of her brother and growled angrily. she sighed and stretched.

Hawk nodded at Snow "Ok" then fallowed the trail of prints his Mate had made in the snow he ran after her

Bane stalked off, walking over to Khari. He nodded a greeting at both Khari and Feather. "Night is with pups," he said, abruptly. Gritting his teeth, he finally burst out. "Night and Hawk already have pups. With another set coming in, they will have up to six more mouths to feed. Six. That would be a half deer dedicated solely to them. And they will probably come in at early spring, when the bears are with child as well. So not only do we need to hunt for six more wolves, we will need to to do it in the presence of hungry bears and thin post-winter prey."

Hawk found night and skidded to a halt "hey night" he came to sit next to her he laid his tail on his tail on her back

" Hi hawk.." she said softly looking at her paws. "Waz this a mistake? Having pups..?"

He shook his head "No no dear you shouldn't worry about that they are just worried about food but I know I can find plenty" he said

Khari sighed. "Why did they choose to do it now? I mean, spring is supposed to be when prey starts to thrive again. But it'll be like winter." She muttered. "Their decision though." She said and yawned.

Feather nodded agreement. "That's true." She said, glancing at Hawk and Night.

Bane breathed heavily, staring at the sparking snow. "Yes, I do suppose it is their decision. But making the pack go hungry so they can have pups? We can hunt more and perhaps it will be fine, but it's risky..."
