Devon dropped his head in depression then stud up "fine I see how it is" he said and started walking to class with a gloom over him. Loki chuckled "that's the first time I have seen him that down in a while, he is usually chipper" she observed. Ezra stud up as the bell rang and some other kids scrambled to class. Loki looked at Alex "we should get going" she suggested.

Alex nods "Yeah, don't want to be late" she says "But it is quite rare to see him like that, I guess I'll have to make it up to him" she says as Nut shakes her head at Alex.

Loki laughed a little and started walking with Alex "I wonder what we are doing today?" she said allowed. Ezra walked through the door and sat by the feet of Loki's desk.

Devon was sitting in the back of the class sulking. A heavy gloom hanging over him. Moosh jumped onto his desk and his paws slid a little but he stopped and watched the other students taking their seats.

"Not sure, I hope no lectures" Alex says As she takes her seat, Nut sat next to her by her feet.

Loki sat in front of Alex and watched as the teacher turned around with a stack of papers in his hand "yup pop quiz time" he said and started passing out papers. Devon pulled his pencil from behind his ear with a sigh. Loki received her paper and immediately wrote her name on it.

Alex mentally groaned but took out a pencil and wrote her name on the paper she was given.

Once Loki was done she got up and walked to the front of the room, dropping her paper in the basket. She walked back to her seat and started doodling on her paper.

Devon scribbled the last answer and Moosh grabbed the paper in his mouth, scampering up to the front. He jumped on a chair then onto the desk. Once done he went back to the desk and curled into a ball. Devon was able to rest his head for a few minutes before the teacher came by and smacked him with a book "stay awake Mr. Frent" he said.

Alex writes down her last answer and then goes up and turns in the quiz relieved it's over. She goes back to her seat and quietly yawns.

The teacher counts how many people are in the class "okay we are going to start a new project today, get into groups of three" he said. Loki turned around and looked at Alex with a smile. Ezra walked over and grabbed the scruff of Moosh and dropped him on Alex's desk "mister moppy needs a partner" she said. Moosh looked at Alex and loki "he has a headach."

Alex nods "That sucks" she says feeling bad for him. But she was glad that she was in a group with her childhood friends. Nut hops onto the desk that's next to Alex, so she could see better. "Was it because of Alex?" The cat asks, getting a tiny glare from the girl
