Wolves and coyotes are the best animals in the world which don´t deserve to be represented as evil creatures.
As it says in my signature the are always persecueted just by what they are and that is not right, i think they should be protected (as well as all the other animals ) and that all the hunters should go to jail for a few years to learn their lesson, wolves and coyotes live in packs that are their families and they take care of each other as humans do THEY HAVE FELLINGS and they don´t deserve to be killed just by what they are. People say that there are too many wolves in some places and that we have to kill them but there is also too many people in the world and we don´t kill them (I want to stop the first option not to start the second one)
Wolves are beautiful creatures with a wild spirit that must be protected NEVER EVER PUT IN CAGES OR ZOOS(excluying natural parks) or they will become extint in the wild and that would be a horrible lost.

Hunters? You mean poachers, right? Without hunters, wolf populations would suffer.
Their numbers are controlled for a reason. Just because they're fluffy and look like domestic dogs, it
doesn't mean that they should get special attention above species which truly need human help.

Edit: Oh, and I study ecology. If you want to know about populations and ecosystems, PM me. :)

I know there are some animals that need more protection like snow leopards or pandas for example but, I mean in Yellowstone they killed all the wolves and there was none left during 70 years then they decided to put the wolves back because they needed them wolves are necesary to keep an ecosystem going, you will problably know that Bolt1784 and yes I meant pouchers should go to jail...
but I don´t like hunters neather, look I am an animal lover I love all animals and I mean all animals but I do think wolves are always represented as evil creatures and I can´t stand that, I don´t think that any animal should be killed (unless for self-defence ir by accident) and I don´t like wolves just because they are fluffly and they looked like dogs, I like wolves because they are free and they have a wild spirit...
I do understand that everybody has its own opinion and that some animals need more protection than wolves but, if you want to talk about it create another forum (I will sure be in it) because this one is about wolves :D

People only care about wolves because their "beautiful". Compare a wolf to an average dog. Dogs have more markings, fur colours and patterns. Are you sure their that beautiful now?

So are you against the consumption of meat?

It always seems odd to me that everyone on CS says "wolves are always represented as evil" and yet... In this day and age, wolves seem to be one of the most popular animals among kids/teens. A large portion of CS members are obsessed with wolves and on plenty of other websites too, so I definitely disagree that "everyone thinks they're evil and they're always misunderstood." Maybe in the media, but not just in general.

The wolves that were "reintroduced" to Yellowstone National Park are not the same wolves that were there before. The wolves that were brought to the park were Canadian wolves, which are larger and stronger than the wolves there previously. The elk and other predators were not used to these stronger wolves, and their numbers suffered because of it.

However, wolves are not portrayed as evil anymore. The general population's opinion has changed greatly towards wolves.

by wolves having feelings what do you mean? What do you think a wild animal such as a wolf has as feelings?
granted we know animals can be happy and depressed but there is nothing more (as far as i know) than that
animals such as wolfs are hunters and their brain is geared for just that they don't care if you are a elk or human they will
attack if they want to.
I personally don't think saying "THEY HAVE FEELINGS" is a good reason not to hunt wolves or any legally hunted animal that is not at risk or endangered in any way. I DO NOT support poaching however or illegal traps/practices with hunting.
Coyotes however are more like raccoons or opossums now days, They roam streets looking for pray such as cats or small dogs even rabbits that are not housed outside right. They hop fences and eat in most areas.

Agreed, and in fact coyotes very rarely thrive in a pack.
