Personality:
If one were to describe Rae briefly, they would use stuck-up, outgoing, selfish, and hot-tempered (that's not even mentioning greedy). Rae is a kiamara with an over inflated ego that would be enough for five more kiamaras besides herself. While this often makes her seem snobby to others, she doesn't really care, and almost makes up for it with an outgoing flare. However, she's also rather selfish and often does not like sharing with others. If she sees something she wants, she will not stop until she gets it (and once she does get it, she hates to let it go). A hot temper accompanies her personality, and others learn quickly to stay out of her way when she's mad. Rae has charm and a flirty attitude that she often uses to get what she wants. While it's often material objects, it can range from just a single cigarette, to a pack of chewing gum, or even just attention.

Her interests include poetry and reading, but what she loves the most are cats, fire, and music. Cats are the only creatures she feels that she can relate to (except for Guppy). They're cute, fluffy, and don't often make efforts to please others. When they do, it's often because they know there's something in it for them. She's also enamored with fire because it symbolizes both life and death, both hope and fear. (As a plus side, it's really cool to see anything burning.) Probably the most important out of the three is music. Rae thinks that there's always room and opportunity to listen to music. She loves how it can both affect and 'sympathize' with one's emotions and thoughts. That's why she wants to write music for a living, or be a DJ. She wants to affect other's lives (in a good way) with her creations.

Despite how she seems, Rae isn't just a snobby, flirty, brat without respect for anybody else's feelings. She knows that others can be hurt. She's just decided to... not think about it. Whenever she tried to empathize in the past it only ended up causing pain for her, and so she tries not to sympathize with others. It might sound wrong, or selfish, but that's just the way she is. Everybody's got their own reasons as to why they act and think the way they do, and it's not anybody's job to change other's perspectives.

Rae is also honest, perhaps even to the point of a fault. You want brutal honesty? You go to Rae. She will always give you the answer that comes to the forefront of her mind when asked, and dole it out in the most emotionless way possible. She really could care less if you look horrible and think you're gorgeous- the truth is all you'll find from her. She considers it almost a part time job- crush other kiamara's hopes and dreams and aspirations with the words that flow out of her mouth. Why lie and be deceitful to hurt people when just being honest about their appearance, mannerisms or annoying habits is enough to drive others to the brink of tears?

Story:
I have always been amazed by dragons. With their size, strength. Their abillity to breathe fire, to fly and their overall majestic appearance. I have always wanted one, and whenever I asked, my parents did their best to explain that it was an impossible task; even for them.
At the age of six, I finally gave up. And started to do some research instead, I had to find an animal they could work with. My mother said that there was one thing I should hae in mind though; No fur.
I didn't really mind, except for the obsession of dragons I had, I also liked reptiles overall. Snakes, lizards, you name it.
So, I knew exactly what I wanted when they asked what I wished for as a gift on my seventh birthday. I still remember it like it was yesterday.
"Do you think.... You could make me a guardian?" I asked, with a curious cling in my voice. I
felt how my left ear twitched, but I tried my best to ignore it.
"What do you mean?" Mother asked with a surprised look.
"Yeah, like a... Guard-dog or-" I started, but mother interrupted me.
"Sweetie, I have already told you this once: No fur" She said, I sighed and looked at the two of them.
"I didn't mean like that! I mean, something with the characteristics of a guard dog: Loyal, protective and maybe even.. Playful?" The last bit sounded quite insecure, I knew how talented they where... But could they actually do such a huge task as this?
"What kind of animal are you talking about, kid?" Father opened his mouth for the first time, and looked at me with his usual, neutral face.
"Mom... Dad..." I looked at them, took a big breath and continued: "I want a komodo dragon" I spoke with a serious look on my face.
They looked at me, then at each other and then they both met my gaze again. My mother smiled as she replied;
"Sure sweetie, we'll see what we can do"

Days turned to weeks, and weeks to months that later became years. Whenever they told me that they finished the project, only moments later it was showed as a failure. I was loosing my hope, maybe it was impossible...?

Seven years later, alot of experiments had been made, without any success.
I had given up, but then, on my fourteenth birthday....
"Grace, can you please follow me?" Father smiled as he spoke. My father, who never did such a thing smiled. I was shocked, and nodded in my confusion as I followed him without a word.
"Seven years have passed, and I think we finally got it right.." Father spoke as he showed me the egg. It was a quite large, pale brown egg wih darker speckles I saw in the hatchery.
"Really?!" I couldn't help but to bounce up and down with excitement.
"Yes, now we just have to wait and see the result.." He said, still with faint traces of the smile on his lips.

I visited the lab every day for a month, and one night it finally hatched. You should've seen Guppy, he was adorable!
Of course I was catious for a start, but he was a success. He was all I could ever dream of, he was perfect...
And he still is. I love him, my precious boy.

Items:
Piercings

Other than her earring with the feather, Rae also got a tounge piercing, a few more earrings and a septum. The septum is not always in though, but is more like an accesoary she wears during important events, parties and such.
Headphones

Her headphones is her mosed prized possesion, sharing the first place among with her bracelets and feathers. (Guppy is who she cares about and love the most, meaning that she doesn't see him as an item.)
These where custom-made just for her, and the little skull has a soft light that is pulsing along with the rythm of the music. You can also change the colour and hue of the little glowing mark, but Rae prefers it green.
She always have them with her, either around her neck or on with the music pumping into her ears.
Feathers

Just like every other kia, Rae got her "normal" feathers when she was two years old. But at the age of fourteen her mother gave her the larger ones with the blue crystal bead, because her mother simply wanted her to show off that they where wealthy and rich. Rae didn't know of that, but would probably not care if she did either. She loves the feathers and the attention they come with.
Bracelets

One thing that Rae hoards are bracelets from different festivals, concerts and even parties she's been on over the years.
She wears them with pride and joy, remembering the precious memories she made on each one of said occasion. Plus, she think they look awesome. But, on the other hand... What wouldn't look great on such a beautiful kiamara as herself?

Quirks / Fun Facts:
- She bites her lip whenever she's nervous or anxious.
- Her left ear twitches when annoyed or frustrated.
- Loves the smell of cigarette smoke on clothes.
(She got a dark grey/black striped scarf that she always wears whenever she's out for a smoke and she also often wears it when she doesn't have the urge to go outside, just to feel the scent of cigarettes.)
- Chewinggum-addicted
- Is a somewhat nerd. She loves marvel and DC comics, along with Nemi and the "Love Hurts"-series.

Phobias / Fears:
Trypanophobia / Vaccinophobia: - Fear of injections / Fear of vaccines & vaccinations
One thing Rae really hates are needles. Especially when the object has to pierce through her skin and into her veins. She get the chills by just thinking about it. And who knows where that needle have been earlier?
Nope, she only takes the vaccines she really needs.
Nosocomephobia - Excessive fear of hospitals
Rae have never liked hospitals. She thinks that they are way too... Sterile. Others always wonder why her problem is, because hospitals are so clean. The only thing she has to say about that statement is this;
"Clean, you say? It's full of sick and wounded people, do you call that clean? Nope, I didn't think so"
And if they try to argue it will just end up with her being angry and... We don't want that.
Sure, her parents work in a similar enviroment. But she knows that place from the inside and out, and besides... It's a lab, there is a difference!

Rae's favorite playlist includes songs that in one way or another affected her. It can be that they made her laugh, sympathize or that it just made her want to dance and move along with the rythm. To others this playlist might be weird, but Rae loves it!

Grace Adilyn Rae was born August 12th in the sign of Leo 1993.
Her parents are Aaron and Gemma Grey, two masterminds who where working for the maffia, helping them by creating all kinds of things: Everything from the slightest animal-spy to a enormous weapon.
But once they found out that Gemma was pregnant, they did their best to lose those connections, and it was almost like the two vanished from the surface of the planet.
Grace where their pride and joy, she was beautiful like Gemma and strong-headed like Aaron. And just like her parents, her head was exploding with creativity and ideas. She was all they could ever dream of.
One thing that did worry them was that even if their little Grace where perfect in their eyes, she lacked one thing a child needed the most in that age;
Friends.
Gemma couldn't stand the fact that her daughter was alone all the time. And even when they asked if their daughter wanted to play with someone else, Grace just shook her head. "I already have friends"
But her parents knew that Grace's imaginary friends wasn't enough, and they decided that they would create what their offspring lacked. But that was when the nagging about the dragons started.

A few years passed, and Grace finally came around with another animal. A komodo dragon.
It was slightly ironic, because it was still a dragon. (kind of)

During the years they worked with this project, Grace crawled out of her shell and she made a few friends. This resulted in her parents not rushing the project, but did work on it carefully; detail by detail.
It was meant to be a guardian, a protector.
They took samples of a real komodos DNA, and eperimented with it. They also took strands from other animals, a dog's DNA was definetly needed, considering the dragon had to be loyal. They also took samples of a skunk, trying to figure out how they could activate their stench and used the same mechanism for the dragons saliva.

After years of work, he was finally revealed and everyone was happy when the egg hatched.
