Eli awoke with a yawn, squinting as morning light shone into his eyes through a hole in the wooden wall. He lifted his head quickly and scented the air for strangers, relaxing only when he smelled nothing unusual. "Argh.." he flexed his jaw muscles and stood, leaving the wooden shed he called home and padding out into the world.

[Wolf Howls]

Kayla examined the animal with her eyes and stopped licking her paw. "I am Kayla. What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I... live here.." she said, confused. "I live in one of these old apartments. I thought no one else lived here and had to see who you were." Silence said. She sat strait up with her ears pricked up, ready for anything.*

[Wolf Howls]

"Oh okay well I live in this barn." Kayla said pointing her tail to a small barn.

[w0ah]

*Silence couldn't bear but smirk when she compared the small barn to her own apartment. "Nice place to stay." she said, trying not to laugh. "Anyways," she said, clearing her throat,"when did you get here? For the longest time I was alone."*

Kayla saw the smirk and a growl grew in her throat. "I came here a pretty long time ago." she mewed with a low tone.

*Silence noticed that Kayla was mad at her and bowed her head. "Sorry, I didn't know you were here," she said, still smirking but hiding her head so Kayla couldn't see. After she calmed herself down, she cleared her throat and thought it was probably time for her to leave before anything happened. She raised her head and stood. "Well, I better get going, I have some places to go," Silence said. She turned and trotted out of the yard and ran to her apartment. She nosed the door open and locked it behind her. She sat on the old coach and burst out laughing. "Stop laughing!" she said to herself. "Why is this so funny to me!" Silence laid down and on the couch and put her paws over her eyes. She laughed a bit more until she was too tired to anymore. Her eyelids grew heavy and she fell asleep.*

Kayla padded quickly but quietly over to Silence's door. She heard her laughing. She padded away. "Its not going to be pretty tomorrow.." she muttered under her breath while killing a rabbit with one swipe. She picked it up and jumped over the fence. She ate it in her yard. The flavors brushed her tongue like a fresh nut on a squirrels tongue.

*Silence woke up in the morning with her stomach growling. She stretched on the old couch and jumped off onto the ground. She yawned and padded over to the door. She nosed the door open then froze. She sniffed the air and smelled Kaylas scent on her front door step and growled. What would Kayla be doing here? she wondered. Silence then remembered yesterday and her rudeness. "Oh crap," she said aloud to herself. She quickly nosed the door shut and locked it. She started to pace around the room. "Oh no, what am I going to do? She is definitely on to something," Silence barked to herself. She sat hard on her haunches and thought for a momment. Her stomach grumbled again. I can't go out there.. she thought. Silence walked over to the window and looked out. She turned her head and looked both ways. Her ears pricked for any sounds and her nose sniffing the air. Silence walked over to the door and nosed it open. She shut it behind her and locked it. Silence ran to the forest and looked behind her. Kayla wasnt in sight. She ran and ran until she spotted a rabit. Pouncing on it, she killed it. Silence picked up her prey and quickly ran back to her apartment and locked the door. She dropped the rabbit on the ground and panted.*
