"I've heard that before," Chandra said. "From someone not unlike you. Guess which one of us is still alive." She kicked the door shut with her foot and approached Dominic's bed. "I hear you're the one to talk to about being a runner."

Dominic jumped, looking over at Chandra. He nodded calmly. 'I see you survived the night in the Maze.' He lipped, glancing down at the stump that ended his left leg, just after his knee. Anthony stepped into the room after Chandra, looking at her.

"It wasn't hard," Chandra said casually. "I've spent a night in a maze far worse than that one. There aren't even ravenous monsters in there. I'm a little disappointed."

Caleb walked into whatever room Dominic was in. "Hey man, how're you feeling?" He asked as he checked Dominic's leg stump/crushed part/idek.

Dominic rolled his teal eyes. He sat up slightly, winching at the pain in his leg. ' Fine, I guess. He lipped, looking at Chandra. So, what is it you came for?' He added.

"I want to be a runner," Chandra said. " My magic is gone, but that doesn't mean I'm useless. And I'll probably go out there regardless, but I felt it prudent to ask you first."

(I know, I did.. Sorrys... Literally have not been online very much the past few days... Mom's gone completely crazy. (Shouldn't even be in this rp tbh.))

Caleb started collecting a few supplies. He pressed a needle to Dominic's arm. "Morphine. It helps with pain." He explained as he injected the liquid into Dominic.

Dominic closed his eyes when Caleb injected the morphine into his arm. 'Noticed when you ran out of the glade....' He lipped to Chandra. ' Wasn't the best way to show off your skills though.' He added.

Caleb glanced over at Dominic's leg. "This might need a bit of reconstruction surgery..." He said quietly. He honestly didn't know how to treat it any other way. Although, that might just be because his narrator failed her biomedical class.

"I didn't come here to show off," Chandra said. "I came here to save this world, and I will, magic or no. First, I have to get out of here, and that means solving this maze."
