Sparrowtail shifted her weight from side to side. "I tried to tell myself that, but every time I do I just keep feeling like I'm lying to myself. "Really? Well, I do suppose you're an your own danger wise... so there would be less cats to help keep those dangers out. But I'm glad to see you're safe and healthy." Tigerfang meowed, giving the technical queen a happy blink. He didn't bother to ask about Firekit; That was Swiftbreeze's private information, and she'd share it if she wanted to.

She grinned appreciatively towards Tigerfang, thankful to have been found in the forest by him. Thinking for a few silent moments, she came to the decision to talk about Firekit. She wouldn't give everything away, but would explain the basics, because she trusted Tigerfang, even before she left. "The twoleg's cat was a tom named George. He is Firekit's father. Firekit also had two brothers, but I took him because he was the oldest. So his father is a kittypet." She finished.

Ashfire nodded to the kit as he snorted a bit in a ammusment, "Combatants and Novices hunt to feed the queens, kits, and elders." He stated as he eyed the kit, "If you are hungry, pick something." He told Firekit as he tugged at a squirrel, "Big meal for a little kit." Ashfire pointed out though was not about to tell him know, "I'm sure your mother will eat what is left over. Go ahead."

He shrugged it off and went back to pulling at the squirrel. He tgen stopped and poked at it with a claw. "I'm not sure if mommy wants me eating this..What if it has maggots? Here, you can eat it." He nudged th squirrel towards Ashfire. "Do you have twoleg pellets?"
