Tigerfang murmured,"Yeah..." He straightened himself. "Well, lets not talk about that. What about you? What's it like outside of the clans?" He didn't want to linger on Redstorm's death for too long, as the memory was still fresh of his broken, limp body.

He nodded, running after the big Tom. His eyes widened as he saw the freshkill pile. "That's a lot of food!" He squealed, moving around the pile, while occasionally taking a sniff at it. After inspecting the pile, he tugged on a tail, and pulled out a squirrel with all his might, almost being smaller than the creature. "Can I eat this?"

She perked up once more at the change of conversation. "It's surely weird, and there are a lot more dangers than inside clan territory. More digs, more twolegs, and rogues almost everywhere. But there was this little twoleg nest that I stayed at, and the feline there was nice. I didn't like having twolegs, but it was the best protection from everything else while I got better. As much fun as I had, I rather be back here with my clan." She said with a smile.

"Really? Well, I do suppose you're an your own danger wise... so there would be less cats to help keep those dangers out. But I'm glad to see you're safe and healthy." Tigerfang meowed, giving the technical queen a happy blink. He didn't bother to ask about Firekit; That was Swiftbreeze's private information, and she'd share it if she wanted to.

Heartstar lead them down the final slope and finally they were at the Gathering place. Her mind, however, was somewhere else, and she nearly ran straight into Lightpaw. "Sorry!" The apprentice squeaked, blinking in surprise. "I didn't see you there." Her manner of acting was a bit different than usual, but who'd notice?
