Ashfire looked down at the kit, a smirk on his face as usual. Though this time he seemed to admire the amount spunk in the little tom. "And why aren't you supposed to talk to strangers?" He asked the kit to see what'd he'd say to the large, black tom.

Swiftbreeze nodded, "Strongclaw..." She softly repeated, thinking about the name. "I don't ever remember anyone named Strongclaw before..I guess it's just someone that I get the chance to know!" She sai with a chuckle. "And atleast Firekit will have some denmates to play with soon, so that's good." She sat back on her haunches, her optics moving about te dimly lit den. "How is Moonclan? Is Crowstar still the leader?"

He pulled the mossball make over to his side, as he gazed up at the male. "Because my mommy told me not to. She said it's dangerous and I could get really hurt!" He said, standing up and shaking bits of the mossball off his amber pelt. "Who are you anyway? Maybe if I know who you are, I can talk to you because you won't be a stranger." He said, cautiously reaching forward to take a sniff. "You won't hurt me, right?"

"You wouldn't." Tigerfang meowed. "She came to our Clan a few moons ago with her sibling." The tom wrapped his tail around his paws. "He's not dead, so I believe so. We haven't seen much of them since Sharpstar..." the tom realized Swiftbreeze knew nothing of IceClan. "You've missed a lot." He finally meowed.

Ashfire sat down in front of the kit as he spoke, "I'm Ashfire." He said introducing himself proudly as he glanced up at the sky, the sun was sinking fast. I wonder if the gathering has started? He thought to himself as the kit asked another question, "No I will not hurt you." He answered. Sure he may not like kits that much but he'd never hurt one.

Foxcloud looked thoughtful for a moment. "Maybe he actually does care about our smaller divisions."

He had grabbed all of her attention when he mentioned Sharpstar. "Sharpstar? Is that like a new leader or something? Fill me in with as much as you can." She told him, wanting to know all that she has missed.

Firekit nodded, wondering why the big tom was talking to him. "Are we friends now, Ashfire?" He questioned retreating back a few steps before settling down. His little belly growled as he spoke, "Would you like to me my mommy? You can tell her that we are friend's so that she can let me talk to you!" He smiled.

"I'll try my best." Tigerfang began. "A few moons after you left, our clan and MoonClan was taken iver by another clan. IceClan. The cats of IceClan are cruel, they're cold blooded killers. And the worst of them is their leader, Sharpstar. He wears a collar studded with the teeth of his victims, and he claws are sharper then any cats I've ever seen. He is now in control, he calls our clans divisions. We are division one, and moonclan division two. Redstorm... was killed by them last moon. Their punishments are severe. Even by death. Its all so weird..."

Littlestep rolled her eyes, "I highly doubt that." She sneered, "I don't his iceheart cares much about anything. Let alone our clan who he thought wasn't good enough!"


Ashfire wasn't sure he was ready to talk to his old friend, "I think she is busy." He told the kit to cover up the fact that he didn't really want to speak with Swiftbreeze. "You can tell her in a bit when your nest is ready."

She listened carefully, gasping slightly at the cause of Redstorm's death. "That's terrible..." She said, ears back. "I really did miss a lot.." She paused, gaze sifting to the ground.

He nodded, "Ok! Can we eat something then? I'm starving!" He squealed. His belly rumbled, and he bounced around his new friend excitedly.

((Same, just wrote several back stories and personalities for some of my newer characters so I'm a bit burnt out already today.. that and I'm just busy.))


Ashfire thought for a moment glancing towards the nursery, Swiftbreeze looked busy so he'd have to feed the kit himself instead of just pawning him off on his mother. "I supposed, let see what we have." The large combatant said flicking his tail for the small bundle to follow him to the fresh-kill pile.
