In the years before Arthur Pendragon and his sorcerer Merlin, magic ran rampant throughout the land of Albion. Many used magic for evil, creating plagues and darkness, spreading fear and worry across the people of the land. But many of the magicians and druids were not evil. They used magic as a way of life, to survive. Magic was a life force, not a tool to be used in defense. In every age, magic has been fought over, used as a weapon, and used as a means of survival. To take something so incredibly binding to a land away is to take away the heart of the people.

The first king of camelot was King Bruta. He used the magic of Cornelius Sigan to build a citadel of power, and create an empire sure to span centuries. But Sigan grew too powerful, and was executed. But, alas. It seems those warlocks never fully die. I bet he'll come back in a couple hundred years. But that's a different story. After Sigan's time, seven knights of Camelot betrayed the then king in pursuit of magic. They were in league with the sorceress Medhir; they could only be stopped with her death. And so, the death of yet another magician came.

This was only about two hundred years ago, still fifty years before the Pendragons. Camelot is currently being ruled by the House of Beyard. Things are for sure tense; magic has brought nothing but chaos to the kingdom of camelot. However, a growing cult of magicians are quick to remind the humans that without magic, Camelot would not stand as strong as it does. Magic is not yet outlawed, as the Pendragons are not yet in power, but there is a rift forming between those who use magic and those who despise it.

And, as we all know, magic is power, and no magic comes without a price. So what will happen to Albion when a new force, driven by hatred and longing, seizes control of magic? Will the rift finally grow too strong and break the ice-thin peace forever? Or is there hope for repair and teamwork to defeat this new evil?

Hello, everyone! As it seems we are gathering more people, I thought I'd start of the discussion c:

Everyone's forms look really good! I think it would be fun to discuss some possible alliances and such and just introduce our characters.

lady cassandra muirdane is a princess, but not in the usual sense. She's independent and likes to be involved, which can also make her seem a little...overbearing. She can also be cold and judgmental, so it would be best not to get on her bad side. She's open for relationships, but I would like any sort of romantic relationship to grow slowly and naturally over the course of the RP, and not right away. She's also just open for friends and even enemies.

sir winston abbey is a charmer, a ladies' man, and woefully single. He is a noble guy, but he gets himself into trouble quite often, and often relies on his friends to back him up or get him out. He's definitely open to any sort of romantic relationship, but also just for a group of friends to hang out with. I was thinking that he'd probably get on well with at least the prince, and he's pretty outgoing, so he gets along with a lot of people.

I'm excited to start this RP and I look forward to RPing with you all!

hello everyone c: i'm bubble9001, but you all can call me bubbles, bubble, or even vampy. i am a total fangirl, but i do love to write. whether it is fanfiction or an actual story i love to write it which is one of the reasons why i enjoy roleplaying so much.

anyways, i roleplay two characters: ketsiah and sebastian.

i'll start withthe female knight ketsiah avalon winchester who usually goes by ketsy or winchester. she is a passionate lover whom is attracted to both genders, however, she is more fond of men. although she can be sharp-tongued she would never use her magic for her own gain. in fact ever since her mother died in a fire accident she vowed never to use her magic for she has convinced herself she was the one who started the fire. currently she is attracted to ashton the servant, but is afraid her ranking will put a damper on this crush. winston comes off as annoying to ketsiah, but she does have to admit he is fairly cute.

next is the prince sebastian calix beyard who goes by the name bash. bash can be both seductive and manipulative at times, but mostly he is an honest to good man. no matter what the situation he will always protect his loved ones or the people he cares for. despite all the attention and swooning woman bash has he promised himself to never fall in love again. his first and only love turned out to be a sorceress whom used him so of course she was burned at the stake for the use of magic. bash has always been interested in woman only and never thought twice about it. despite the fact bash is afraid to fall in love again he does find the servant girl ozzi attractive, but he knows it can never happen for it would bring his family and kingdom shame.
