"But where will you swim to? Camp is flooded. There's no where to go," Graystream pointed out. "Come on, Dreampaw, stop being so bitter. Don't you remember the stories of ancient ThunderClan? Remember Cinderpelt? She had a leg injury like yours, but much worse, and she was never able to become a warrior. Your ceremony has only been delayed a couple of moons. Let it go."

"Oh, and you are?" Beechpaw asked sweetly. "If this really is your territory, not that it is, then why haven't you chased us out yet? You're all bark and no bite. I, on the other paw, don't allow trespassers to wander around freely for more than five minutes!" She gave Herringpaw a hard nudge to wake him up before lunging at Hibiscus with outstretched paws and unsheathed claws.

Dreampaw wrinkled Her muzzle in disgust and turned to him. "Forget what? I thought that saying was 'forgive but never forget'?"

Herringpaw blinked blurrily. "Wha-?"

Hibiscus dodged with ease before pinning the little she-cat, her own claws unsheathed. "Your own little friend may need a little help waking first." She clucked her tongue chidingly before digging her claws deeper.

It took a few moments for Herringpaw to realize what was happening. He lunged at Hibiscus before being thrown off.

"What? I didn't tell you to forget anything. I said let it go. Let go of your anger." Graystream stared calmly at her.

Beechpaw winced as the she-cat's thorn-sharp claws dug into her flesh. She battered furiously at Hibiscus's belly and bit her forepaw. "Herringpaw, get a warrior!" she hissed.

(Hibiscus is fighting Beechpaw and Herringpaw.)

"To let go is to forget!", snarled the tortie she-cat. She narrowed her amber orbs. "Are you going to stop me?"

Hibiscus chuckled, ignoring the searing pain from her stomach and paw. The she-cat began to claw at Beechpaw's eyes, giving herself enough time to regain her strength.

Herringpaw nodded.

"Uh, no, it's not," Graystream snorted. "To let go is to stop clinging to your anger, frustration, or sadness. And no, I'm not going to stop you. The water will."

Beechpaw hissed and managed to wriggle free from Hibiscus's grip before her eyes could be ripped out. "Clifftaaaiiilll!" she yowled loudly.

Clifftail's ears perked and soon realized it was Beechpaw calling. "Oh boy, probably just another prank or something." he sighed to himself, settling back down.

Hibiscus began to circle the she-cat, with occasional attempt at striking at her flank. She let out a triumphant cackle when she did happen to hit the apprentice. Then, followed them up with a pounce on the apprentice's back. She smirked before taunting in Beechpaw's ear, "Hey there, fishbreath." Her paw stung her, but she only dug them into the apprentice's shoulders to keep herself from slipping off.

Herringpaw watched to horror and raced to Clifftail, determined to get him to help. "Clifftail! Quickly! Beechpaw is fighting off a rogue. Please help! I promise we aren't doing another prank! Pleease!" he begged, soon getting the large warrior to rise grumpily and follow him. The young tom paid no attention to the threats Clifftail was promising if they had lied.

Snowfoot heard a screech and ran to the sound only to see hibiscus and Beechpaw fighting. she jumped in and started to claw hibiscus in the eye and told Beechpaw to run away over to the others. Snowfoot continued to claw hibiscus's eye and quickly did a belly rake and bit the cats paw.
