I nodded, smiling slightly. "Okay, as long as we have the lizard." I commented. I walked over to it, petting it between the eyes. "Im gonna name you... Haichi." I said happily, still petting it. Haichi leaned into my head, it's eyes closing momentarily. "Shes a girl, right?" I asked, whirling around to look at Kaito.

Mai;

I nodded. "Yeah. I mean, meat isn't something I like to eat, but I'm sure they will have something else." "Did you hear that the avatar is missing?" I heard a few people exclaim. "Okay, I didn't know they knew who the avatar was, yet, and now they're missing?" I asked, following the scent as I sped up slightly.

Kaito Makamoto - Firebender

He shrugged, replying, "Not sure. I've never dealt with lizards before, and I didn't even think to check the gender. Maybe it is though?"

Daichi Makamoto - Waterbender

He rolled his eyes. Of course he didn't think about it. Then again, he couldn't really blame him. The gender wasn't really all that important as long as it was healthy.

I nodded happily, patting on Haichi's side. "Well, she's gonna be a girl until we can figure it out." I stated, telling Haichi's to go 'down.' Haichi bent down and I climbed onto her back. "Well, you slow pokes coming lot what?" I asked playfully, petting the lizards neck and I waited for the others to climb on. I'm going to need to get riding gear soon...

"I'm coming." I say, smiling as I went to climb on Haichi's back. I was eager to get going. I looked at the boys. Obviously they were coming.

Daichi Makamoto - Waterbender

He nodded, climbing on with the girls. He was pretty invested in this at this point, so turning back would be useless. Looking to his younger brother, he raised a brow, a silent question.

Kaito Makamoto - Firebender

Seeing his brother's expression, he nodded, climbing on as well. "Yeah, of course I'm coming." He felt a little nervous sitting atop a giant lizard, but he smiled anyhow, knowing that they should be perfectly safe.

'thank goodness there were riding lessons at school a while ago.' I thought, remembering how to ride the giant lizard. I patted the side of Haichi's head and gestured for her to move forward, and she started walking. "Good girl." I smiled as she walked at a fast pace. I steered her in the direction of the boarder. We'd have to find a boat to take us to the water tribes and what not, but this is a good start to a still evolving plan. "Okay, I'm going to be getting riding gear before we leave the fire nation, I promise." I stated, the feeling of the scales indenting my legs making me feel uncomfortable-and quite frankly, loosing the feeling of my leg.

Mai;
