OF THE WOODLAND REALM➵ Legolas Thranduilion Greenleaf is one of the sons of the King Thranduil, ruler of the elves of Southern Greenwood (otherwise known as the Woodland Realm). He was born and raised in his father's court and often acted as a messenger in the name of the Elvenking until the Quest of the Ring began.
It was in the year 3018 of the Third Age when Legolas was sent to Rivendell with the task of reporting the escape of the creature Gollum from Mirkwood to the Council of Elrond. During the Council was when he saw the One Ring for the first time, and when he learned about its danger to the Free Peoples of Middle-earth. He joined the Fellowship of the Ring as the elven representation of Arda, dedicating his bow in service to the Ringbearer.
The Fellowship - comprised of Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin the hobbits, Aragorn and Boromir the humans, Gandalf the wizard, Gimli the dwarf and Legolas the elf - was certainly a ragtag group of travellers, and any outsiders who happened to see them passing by certainly would not have thought that these were the ones out to save the whole of Middle-earth. Even though Legolas was one of the more optimistic members of the Fellowship, sometimes he himself doubted their ability to work together, especially considering his ever-constant feud with Gimli. However, as time went on and Arda hung precariously in the balance, their hardships knit the nine companions closer together as they strove to fend off the dark forces and protect the Ringbearer on their way to Orodruin.
Extremely agile and a graceful fighter, Legolas is an advantage in any battle. The elves of the Greenwood whence he came are noted throughout Middle-earth as being amazing archers, able 'to hit a bird's eye in the dark', and Legolas himself is certainly no exception; though he was trained in the art of the blade from an early age, he had always preferred the bow and made himself a renowned shooter even amongst his father's kingdom. As is wont of elves, Legolas has increased eyesight and hearing compared to that of most humans, and 'can spot a sparrow from a finch a league off'. Because he is a wood-elf, he has always been very attuned to nature and could 'talk' to trees like the rest of his elven kin, and is an excellent climber. He has a great respect and love for animals and plants of all kind.
Like all elves, he is immortal, meaning he does not age nor fall sick by natural means - at one thousand two hundred fifty years of age, he is actually considered young in the years of the Eldar. He is not insusceptible to wounds, however, and can be killed by a weapon like any other mortal, though it is guaranteed that he will put up quite the fight before being downed.
Generally quiet and introverted with a level head, Legolas has a slow temper and it takes much to annoy him or make him angry. He is generally kind to those around him, though he tends to be a bit patronizing to mortals because of his age. Loyalty and companionship are not given lightly by him to others, and he is not afraid to fight alongside someone - even unto death - if they have earned his friendship and trust.

Rᴇɪ Hɪɴᴏ // Sᴀɪʟᴏʀ Mᴀʀs
ғᴇᴍᴀʟᴇ // sɪxᴛᴇᴇɴ // sᴀɪʟᴏʀ ᴍᴏᴏɴ
➵ Fierce, passionate, and tenacious, Rei's personality is exactly what you'd expect from the Senshi of Fire. She likes to present herself as elegant, classy, and ladylike. And that's what most of the world sees--a charming young lady, courteous and graceful. But when Rei lets herself loose, oh boy, does she! Rei's temper is unmatched. She'll passionately argue her point of view until her voice disappears, and it doesn't take much to get her angry. From silliness when the situation should be serious to genuine evil, Rei will make it very clear when you've crossed the line. She is also impatient, and very stubborn. Did I also mention she's ambitious? Her dream is to have an international success life. What she does doesn't exactly matter once it's been checked off her bucket list.
But this fierce young woman has a soft side. To her friends (Usagi especially) she can be kind, compassionate, and caring. She knows when to draw her own line, and she will never dare cross it willingly. If she sees she hurt someone (which she doesn't always do; she can launch herself into a tirade and seriously hurt someone's feelings and never realize it), especially her friends, she will regret it and apologize if necessary. But overall? Do not cross Rei Hino. If you do, you will regret it.
➵ Sailor Mars' original home was that of the planet for which she was named: Mars. Born on the red planet as the royal heiress Princess Mars, she was tasked with guarding the young Princess Serenity at the tender young age of five. And that she did, growing closer and closer to the Moon Princess and her fellow Sailor Senshi...that us, until a terrible tragedy befell all. The Dark Kingdom laid siege to the planets, killing all but the Queen of the Moon, who sent Princess Serenity and the guardians of the planets to be reincarnated eons later.
And reincarnated they did. Rei's childhood was not exactly the happiest. When she was a little girl, her mother passed away, leaving her with a distant father whom she now despises. At about nine, she went to live with her grandfather while her father proceeded to never contact her again. This further cemented Rei's hatred for her father.
Rei became a Senshi at fourteen, when she met Usagi for the first time. After being taken captive by Jadeite, she witnesses Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury (Usagi and Ami respectively) trying to fight him off. During this time, she awakens as Sailor Mars and helps the other two Senshi finish the fight. As more Senshi join and they all realize their past memories, they grow closer together, fighting off more and more enemies as time goes on.
//\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\\Sailor Mars is the Senshi of Fire, and her attacks reflect this. They are entirely offensive and used mainly for fighting and exorcising spirits. They include...
Fire Soul- Mars' primary attack. Basically a column of fire that shoots out.
Fire Soul Bird- A stronger variant of Fire Soul. The fire takes the shape of a large phoenix, and takes a massive amount of energy to generate
Akuryo Taisan- Translates roughly to Evil Spirits, begone! Used primarily for exorcising spirits, it has a similar effect to Fire Soul.
Burning Mandala- Summons flaming rings that she throws at an enemy. This is Rei's personal favorite attack.
Mars Snake Fire- Exactly what you'd expect, given the name. A large snake made of fire is summoned.
Mars Flame Sniper- A large bow and arrow form from pure flame. Mars uses this to shoot the flaming arrows at an enemy. Note: Rei is a fantastic archer.
In addition, Sailor Mars is a psychic. She can read fire omens and sometimes gets vague premonitions to future events, either by reading the sacred fire or through her dreams.Mars' transformation and attacks Crystal version!

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━┓
Name| Killua Zoldyck
Age| Fourteen
Birthplace| Kukuroo Mountain
┗━━━━━━━━━━━━┛
┏━━━━━━━━━━━━┓
Height| 5'4"
Weight| 110 lbs
Blood type| A
┗━━━━━━━━━━━━┛
Ex-assassin.
Hunter.
Lover of sweets.
Killua Zoldyck. Born July 7 to a family of elite assassins, Killua, or Kil as his family patronizingly dubbed him, has been instructed in the arts of assassination since he was a child. Subjected to various forms of torture, including electricity, poison, and interrogation sensitivity training that left him with an extreme tolerance, his swift absorption of lessons and natural limitless potential led him to be lauded by the whole family.
Killua has since left the family trade, joining his most precious friend Gon's quest to find his mysterious, legendary Hunter father, but retained his macabre skill set. From his silent footsteps and enhanced strength to his incredible speed and Nen (life aura) training, Killua could easily be a deadly, jaded teenager. And he would be, were it not for the timely intervention of Gon.
He is no longer a killer by profession. Bits of his old personality can be seen when he becomes intensely angry, but he now has a more lighthearted side. Most days he is a sarcastic, humorous, nonchalant joker. His never ending quest to consume all sweets in the world has led him on whimsical adventures, through which he has become fiercely protective of his friends, and now feels a slight compulsion to protect the innocent - though his and his friends' interests take precedence in nearly all cases. His dependence upon Gon to stay unflinchingly on the straight and narrow is anything but healthy, but every time Gon smiles, every time Killua heard that infectious laugh, he can't help but think it has all been worth it.

“ NEITHER HUMAN NOR GHOUL ”
kaneki ken . male . nineteen . artificial ghoul« outfit . mask »GHOUL
ghoulish attributes.
- He must feast on human flesh or drink coffee to stave off an appetite - he cannot stomach 'normal' food.
- As a rinkaku ghoul, Kaneki harbors abnormal regeneration/self-healing rates - it can be heightened upon feeding.
- Flexibility and brutish force are his forte - he can maneuver through skirmishes and wound opponents with relative ease.
- His kagune (combative organ) can split into eight tendrils at the maximum, but he typically sticks with the default four.
- Brittle, soft body - if attacked anywhere outside of his kagune's protection, it can prove to be fatal without regenerating.
- Kagune is covered in scales with a texture similar to sandpaper; it looks like tendrils protruding from the small of his back.
- The body of a ghoul cannot be penetrated by man-made weapons; wounds may be inflicted by another's kagune or abilities from alternate worlds.
BIO
Kaneki Ken was his generation's tragic hero. He suffered through a surgery that plucked him directly from the comfortable atmosphere of humanity and tossed him blatantly into the underground world of ghouls - man-eating doppelgangers that appeared human in every aspect aside from their eyes. Kaneki became an "artificial" ghoul (also called one-eyed or half-ghouls), where his original, human organs were replaced with those of a binge-eating ghoul named Rize Kamishiro. When under extreme mental pressure or the influence to feed, his left eye will activate as kakugan, whereas in natal-born ghouls, both eyes would transform. This separates the two physically.
Kaneki, while still wholeheartedly human in mentality, underwent extensive measures of torture by another ghoul that caused his appearance to suffer in a number of ways. His once raven-colored hair blossomed anew as white, his nails on both hands and feet blackened from constant regeneration, and he lost all self-worth as a human, liquefying any tender emotions toward others for the time being. He became shielded and reserved, borderline emotionless, as he bloomed into a full-fledged ghoul in the matter of ten days. Immediately after escaping from his captor and feasting on his kagune, Kaneki adapted an incomplete kakuja, an enhancement to his kagune that is only to be used in the most dire of situations, as he has no way of controlling his thoughts, actions, or voracity while it is active. He began to devote this newly-awakened strength to aiding his friends and battle comrades in every way possible, even if it meant cutting ties with his human side.
At heart, Kaneki still visualizes himself to be human, however, the thought is amiss in his current mindset. He is a ghoul, and will act as such, feeding on whatever he deems worth his time; and on most occasions, that means devouring another ghoul. His goal is to become stronger, strong enough to defeat any who stand in his, or any of his friend's, way. It is an obsession, an endless desire to protect what has made his life whole when, above all, he fears being alone. If he can protect those close to him and keep them alive and healthy, he will go to whatever lengths that are needed in order to do so.
TRIVIA
extras.
- He wears a mask to hide his face from the CCG (Commission of Counter Ghoul), or ghoul hunters.
- Due to wearing a mask that covers his kakugan-less eye, Kaneki was nicknamed Eyepatch by the CCG.
- Even when masquerading as a human, he covers up his afflicted eye as a precaution in case it happens to transform at random.
- He has a knack for literature, and gets rather excited when he finds someone else interested in the same genres.
- Kaneki can last for around a month without food, though he usually feeds before then.
- He stands at 170cm (5'5") and weighs approximately 58kg (127lbs).

Name: Nerevar Indoril, Nerevar Moon-and-Star, Godkiller, Hortator, and First Councilor.
Age: Physically 30s to 40s. Real age unknown.
Sex: Male
Race: Chimer, or "Changed Ones", an eleven race.
Appearance: Nerevar's appearance has never been confirmed, but we have many clues to his look. The surviving Indoril House wears full golden armor to take on his appearance. Nerevar, like the average Chimeri, has deep golden skin and bronze-colored hair. He dies his hair red and wears it as a full-on mowhawk in battle, and sleeked back, casual mowhawk outside of battle. Nerevar wears Bonemold armor; armor made from the shells of the many insects native to modern-day Morrowind. Carved into the armor is the old Indoril family crest: a moon-and-star.
Abilities: Nerevar Indoril is a skilled warrior and an even better strategist. He wields a unique sword forged by his dear friend King Dumac of the Dwemer, or Dwarves: Trueflame. Trueflame is a magnificent, eternally aflame cutlass.
Nerevar also wears a magnificent ring made by Azura herself, his god, the god of Dawn and Dusk and the mysteries between. "Moon-and-Star" enhances his speech craft and charisma, and marks him as the true Nerevar, as anyone else who attempts to wear the ring will die instantly.
Personality: Nerevar is a protector. He holds those he loves deep in his heart, and won't stop at anything to protect them, even if his own life is at stake. However, that tends to blind him of the possibilities of subterfuge. A personal friendship seems more binding than an old rivalry, as seen with the Chimer's old enemies, the Dwemer. In matters of war, though, he is an uncanny strategist. He uses everything at his disposal: the battlefield, the weather, the troops, to gain an advantage. He is also deeply religious. Nerevar worships a Daedra, an immortal god named Azura. She rules over Dawn and Dusk, over the mysteries of twilight, and grants her followers prophecies of the future. Nerevar consults Her on every major decision, and She considers him to be her Champion, a mortal who does her bidding in the mortal realm.
History: Nerevar Indoril's early history is subject to legend. He was born sometime in the early 1st Era, and Vivec's accounts suggest he met his wife, Almalexia, when she was already a ruler and he a bodyguard for a merchant caravan. 1E 240, the Nords, men like us humans from the northern island of Atmora, started an Imperialist campaign for Resdayn, the name of the island of Vvardenfell where Nerevar lived. In 1E 369, when the Nords were distracted by their own War of Succession, Nerevar struck back. He became Hortator of the Great Houses--a general of sorts--and united all the Chimeri tribes together for a rebellion. He allied with the Chimer's old enemies, the Dwemer, who lived in deep underground cities that could never be conquered by the Nords, and formed the First Council. That alliance was crucial, as the Chimer were scattered people and the Dwemer had mighty weaponry and many armies to send to war. However, the two peoples hated eachother, for the Chimer were deeply religious (Nerevar too, with his god Azura) and the Dwemer renounced all gods as but men and declared science and logic the true way of understanding the world. The alliance depended on Nerevar--The "King" of Chimer--and Dumac--King of the Dwarves--personal friendship. On all accounts, they were true friends. Dumac went to Nerevar and Almalexia's wedding and gave them twin swords Trueflame and Hopesfire. Both Dumac and Nerevar went to another emporer's coordination as representatives of Resdayn.
With the climactic "First Battle of Red Mountain" in 1E 416, the Nordic threat was decisively repulsed from Resdayn. The alliance between Chimer and Dwemer lasted for centuries. At this time, Nerevar formed a friendship with Vivec, a junior councilor on the First Council. The two became students under a wise old Mage named Sotha Sil. Vivec and Nerevar attempted to reach CHIM, a sort of spiritual awakening that Vivec claims "[is trying to reach] Heaven by violence" by journeying all around the world and outside of it. It was only by the power of Magnus, a god, that they were stopped from reading the entire library on the sun.
Through means lost to history, Voryn Dagoth, Nerevar's most trusted servant and bodyguard, learned that the master smith Kagrenac of the Dwemer was experimenting on the Heart of Lorkhan, a god whose body had been thrown to the earth long before people inhabited it, and whose crater formed the Red Mountain. This was an ultimate act of blasphemy, even for the Dwarves. Nerevar, blinded by his friendship, could not believe King Dumac would let his smith do this and hide it from the Chimer. Once again, Nerevar convinced the Chimer to gather under his leadership. The Chimer were highly skilled in fighting and magic, but the Dwarves had impenetrable cities and technological advantages no other race has yet to attempt to create. It's unknown how long the war lasted. Through strategy, trickery, luck, and judicious use of Ashlander scouts, Nerevar staged a confrontation at the Dwemer's base inside Red Mountain. Somehow, Nerevar was wounded in this battle. His shield-companion Alandro Sul--also known as the immortal son of Azura--was blinded, and claims Nerevar was poisoned by Almalexia, Sotha Sil, and Vivec after the battle. Somehow the trio--known now as "The Tribunal"--and Voryn Dagoth went deep into Red Mountain and found the Heart of Lorkhan, and Kagrenac's Tools: a dagger named Keening, a hammer named Sunder, and a gauntlet named Wraithguard.
Upon Nerevar discovering these tools, his god, Azura, also discovered the tools. She was furious. She made every single Dwemer disappear instantaneously for their ultimate treachery against the gods. Nerevar told Dagoth to watch the tools and make sure no one touches them while he was gone. He then left to finish the battle and to determine what to do with these blasphemous things.
Alandro Sul claims it was at this time, while consulting Azura on what to do with the tools, that Nerevar was poisoned. In the ceremony, Alamalexia used poisoned candles, Vivec used poisoned water, and Sotha Sil used poisoned robes. Those three, the Tribunal, wished to use the tools to gain power, and they killed Nerevar for it.

Name: Drusilla
Age: Physically 18-25, real age around 150.
Sex: Female
Race: Born human, turned vampire
Appearance: Drusilla appears to be an ordinary human girl; albeit in old fashioned dresses in macabre colors. She's tall for a girl--5'9"--with long, straight, brown hair and brown eyes. She has pale, room-temperature skin. Drusilla is currently wearing a black, lacy ball-gown and carrying a black, bloodstained umbrella to protect her from the sun.
Abilities: Drusilla is a vampire and has all the abilities they carry. But, she was also born with minor psychic abilities, and still has them in her undeath.
Vampiric Abilities:
Vampires in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe are considered demons, and as such, they have no soul. The soul provides its host with the possibility of good, and without one, one is reduced to their evilest form. Vampires are special demons in the way that they carry their human memories, personalities, and even feelings like love. So, a vampire is certainly capable of mimicking a normal human as a way of attracting prey.
Vampires also have the traditional boosts to twice strength, speed, reflexes, and night vision.
However, those boosts come at a cost. Vampires require blood--preferably human, but pig, primate, and monkey blood are capable substitutes--to be healthy. Starvation won't kill them, though, but it makes them wish they were dead. What will kill them is exposure to holy artifacts, a stake through the heart, beheading, fire and sunlight.
There are also hindrances to vampires. They have no reflection on all surfaces. They can't be let into private domains without a vocal invitation from someone who lives there. Public places, and places with a written invitation (such as some signs over colleges, like "let all who seek knowledge find it here") bypass that rule. Without an invitation, vampires can get all the way up to the doors, windows, etc, and are them blocked by a magic invisible wall. Nothing breaks the wall, not even a running tackle, tunneling, blowing up the walls, etc. As long as it's still a home with people living there, no vamps can get in.
When a vampire wants to bite, their face turns beastial as the "demon side" comes out. Their eyes glow yellow, fangs are bared, and their brow and nose are raised like a tiger's. They growl just like one, too.
Psychic Abilities:
Drusilla was born for reasons unknown with minor psychic abilities. She has precognition: the ability to see possible futures through dreams, visions, and traditional divination techniques. (With divination, she is a bit more accurate. One episode features her accurately predicting the movements and deaths of assassins as the events took place on the other side of town.)
Possibly connected to the precognition is her uncanny empathy. No, not the "I understand your pain", but the "I know hat you are feeling and I feel it too" empathy. Through touch, Drusilla can feel another's emotions-past, present, and future. She can choose to feel, but she cannot choose what to feel. She might get past feelings, or maybe future, or both at the same time.
Drusilla is also a minor hypnotist. When she locks eyes and concentrates, saying, "Be in my eyes. Be in me." A weak-minded victims can fall into a trance, leaving them wide-open for the fingernail attack.
Fingernails? Yes, fingernails. Drusilla used her newfound immortality to grow out her fingernails and sharpen them. She once hypnotized a victim and slit their throat with her razor-sharp body weaponry.
Personality: Drusilla is...well, crazy. Schizophrenic, it seems, but not the ordinary genetic and/or fetal virus schizophrenia. She developed her insanity after years of torture at the hands of her sire (the vampire who turned her) Angelus. Angelus found her: a pure girl who may just become a saint, and saw a "masterpiece". Drusilla feels no trauma over this, but she has a very hard time understanding the world outside of her and communicating what is going on with her. It's left her crippled to the point of almost needing a caretaker to remind her to feed on a human every day or so, or to sleep, or get dressed. She regressed to a child-like state and spends nearly all her time "playing" with her dolls (one of which is named Miss Edith) by torturing and feeding on humans in front of them. Once Drusilla finds something to focus on in the "real world", she clings to it. For years that was Spike, her lover and fellow vampire.
History: Drusilla was a famed psychic in Victorian era England. She believed the powers were evil, however, as "Only God should see what I see." She was working with the Catholic Church to become a nun and live in seclusion. Angelus, a vampire leading a bloody scourge on Europe, saw this pure, possible saint and decided to corrupt it. First he killed her priest and pretended to be him in Drusilla's confession. He toyed with her, telling her to give in to the evil, as it was clearly God's Plan. She cried, truly not wanting to be evil. Then Angelus killed her family members one by one, tormented her living relatives and leaving bits of them at her doorstep. She ran to the covenant in Prague, and on the day she was to take her vows, he made her watch as he killed every single member of the covenant in front of her, and then turned her. She readily join their murderous travels, as Drusilla was now a predator. She found a sad poet known as "William the Bloody" for his bloody aweful poetry and felt his pain and his anger at the higher ups in society who teased him. He was turned by her and gave himself new meanings to his name and a new name, "Spike". (One of teasers said "I'd rather have a railroad spike shoved up my bum then read another word of William the Bloody's bloody aweful poetry!" So he shoved a railroad spike in his head and was forever known as Spike.) Spike killed a Vampire Slayer during the Boxing Rebellion, which attracted Drusilla's eye, and they became lovers. Drusilla was injured by an angry mob in Prague and Spike, feeling true love and worry for her, brought her to a hole of evil known as a Hellmouth, hoping to restore her with its energy. That didn't work, so through other means, Drusilla was restored, but Spike was left temporarily paralyzed, and now Dru had to take care of him. And that is when she arrived in this world....

Clad in a white and black buttoned vest with coattails that exposes a section of midriff, Blake has ribbons wrapped around both arms that, despite appearance, are actually quite lethal when combined with her weapon, a flat and broad blade resting on her back. She completes the look with white short shorts and black tights that fade to purple with a white insignia at the heel, along with black low-heeled boots and a loose, scarf-like collar. History--- *Spoilers Alert*
Blake was born a faunus, a race that looked almost completely human except for the fact that they each carried the traits and one appendage of a certain animal, as well as perfect night vision. Discriminated against and beaten because of her race, Blake joined a criminal orginization called the White Fang, a massive group of Faunus that strove for equality through less than pure means. Teaming up with Adam, a fellow faunus, Blake grew involved in many hijacks and infiltrations; however, she slowly quailed under the harsh, violent, and brutal ways of the group, ending her time with them by slashing the cord connecting a train box to the head of the train, losing the group once and for all. Deciding to do what she thought was right, Blake enrolled to become a hunter at Beacon Academy, where she would learn how to fight creatures of Grimm, manifestations of darkness that appeared in animoid forms. She was currently going through her first semester with her team... Until she ended up here.

Hmm...TIME TO BREAK THE SILENCE!
*cough* Well, hello everybody! I am Wormgod, the god of worms, worm-like parasites, centipedes, and millipedes. I am an earthworm with a little crown and cape! Why? It's a long story.
I am also a human, and I go to college. My city is being barraged by "artic fronts" from Canadia, the land of syrup. Global warming, man.
As per the roleplay, I vote for a bromance between Nerevar and Legolas, cause they're both men from medieval-esque lands and won't understand all the newfangled technology in New York. (Even though all that technology is broken...)

Truth be told, I'm more curious as to how 'futuristic' the city would be. It could be underplayed and assumed to be more or less what we've chugged on with, or a radical new landscape - some mix of the Halo universe and Back To The Future, y'know?
A thousand years is nothing to scoff at given our current rate of innovation.
Whatever relationships develop between characters seem more likely to become apparent as the RP progresses. I don't see any of our characters being too chummy soon after being unceremoniously dumped in an alternate universe.
That being said, I support Legolas bromances in general. He's a sweet character.

I'm not quite sure how I want to play my character out, at least in terms of relationships and such; cannonically she barely gets along with anyone. e.e
Yes! I thought it would be very Halo-esque as well! I feel like, though, it would be a broken down halo universe, sort of Halo mixed with Revolution.
Bromances are the best romances. cx
