OMG GUYS. The school district is having an event where you submit cool ides of things your passionate about in a show case. CX I'm going to design a horse creator and write a short story to submit. C:
I'm overly excited too beecause they are doing gifted cluster classes and putting a bunch of gifted people in the same class room to see how it worked, and my class is that, and its a first time vent so we get first access special to it to see if next year they can open it to all students c:

I'd love to post the link here, but there's a bit of swearing and some not-so-pleasant parts...
The whole story is pretty good though. Maybe I could write an uncensored version? Then again, it probably wouldn't be the same now, would it.

Hey, guys. I was wondering what you though of this:
Kaila Ashten is the Keeper of the Phoenixes. She watches each Phoenix hatch, she befriends them, nurtures them, and teaches them. She learns from them. After over 5,000 years with the Phoenixes, she still doesn't know a tenth of their knowledge or culture. Each Phoenix is born with thousands of years of knowledge, and Kaila lives to learn from them and about them. Every 200 years or so, she takes on an apprentice. This time, it's Andrew Makt, a curious lad with a special bond with his newly-born Phoenix friend Fartha. Then, Farthenwing, Kaila's Phoenix and best friend, overhears the King of Diapla discussing his plan to wipe out the Phoenix population. Kaila must give up everything to save her friends, but will it be enough? Or will she loose Farthenwing and the other Phoenixes, forever?

I am writing a YA novel called My Year With Mr. Tesla. It is a story about Nikola Tesla, told through the perspective of a teenage girl named Estelle. The book serves to show the multiple sides of Nikola Tesla, not just the brilliant mind he is known for. Both foreigners and feeling cast out, Estelle and Nikola become close friends despite their age difference. Their lives are full of tragedies, and they find solace in one another, until a catastrophe strikes that could drive them apart forever. The book is also about Estelle realizing she is asexual, and Nikola Tesla, who was asexual himself, helping her to understand it.
