I saw your post on my request thread(: I'm uncertain of the price though, and whether or not I can afford art. I really do like your style so I wish to try. If I were to get a colored custom and a colored tinie, would an advent cover it or not?

Currently I say that 2 2008 Christmas Pets (AKA 2008 Advents) would cover the cost of 1 Tiny or 1 Colored Sketch - this is based off the fact that the majority of them are worth around C$80 according to this pricing guide, and both of those commission types normally cost $10 USD (AKA C$160).

If the Advent you have isn't listed on that page, it's from another year, or you're unsure about it, feel free to link it here and I can see if I can find the price for you!

Otherwise any 7 Rares from my wishlist would cover the cost. You can also check the first post to see which rares I'm currently offering a deal on!

2012 store pets are only worth C$30, so you'd still need about 5 of those for anything worth C$160. It's much easier to just go with wishlist rares at the moment, since I've been gone for two years and REALLY need to catch up.
(Of course this also means if you're interested in my templates, then you can likely cover the cost with a ton of OMG So Common!/Very Common/Uncommon pets! Though I ask for a ton for those since they're not really worth much in comparison to rares.)

Like I said, Advents are only worth about C$80, so + the store pet will only come to $110 which doesn't quite cover the cost. :c (Even if we count them worth C$90 it's not quite enough.)

HOWEVER, if you did the Advent, the Store Pet, and 2 Wishlist Rares, that would cover the cost of ONE Tiny or Colored Sketch.

(I'm going to have to go through and make a list of what rares are worth in general and list the cost in C$ on the post instead, it ranges so much!)

I've reworked it all so now it's all based on C$ value:

Uncolored Sketches

Tinies
PRICE: C$160 worth in pets!

Soft Shaded Sketches
PRICE: C$240 worth in pets!

2009 January->April Rare/Very Rare = C$40
2009 May->August Rare/Very Rare = C$35
2009 September->December Rare/Very Rare = C$30

2010 May->August Rare/Very Rare = C$20

So basically, it's all about how old the pet is!

A 2008 Advent + Store Pet = C$100 -> YOU WILL NEED: C$60 in Rares/Very Rares
A 2009 Advent + Store Pet = C$60 -> YOU WILL NEED: C$100 in Rares/Very Rares
A 2010 Advent + Store Pet = C$50 -> YOU WILL NEED: C110 in Rares/Very Rares

Please use the price guide above to work out how many rares total you will need! You can use rares from different years - you can also just make a group of pets for me to look at and I can tell you if it's enough or not! (That might be easier )
